Rude, disinterested staff. I stopped by recently to look into their stock of pointe shoes. I am a professional ballerina, who is in town for the holidays. I am looking to switch brands of pointe shoes, and when I asked what they had, the woman coldly rattled off a list and walked away. I was left feeling like it would be like pulling teeth to get her to actually take any further interest in making a sale. Professionals are known to buy 6, or so pairs at a time. This woman threw away a potential sale that may have totaled over $ 500.00, with the possibility of repeat business. Stores like these should value their customers, especially since they could easily be put out of business by online stores whose products are far less expensive, and who have far more varieties of merchandise. Even for a local dance store, this place is limited, tacky, and overpriced. At the very least they should respect the few people that come by, not to mention people that are actually working in the field they pretend to service.
