Arbor Dental was established in 1926, originally located downtown Detroit in the Kales building and has been a family practice spanning four generations of dentists.

Business Owner

Dr. Christopher Paulson has always had a strong passion for dentistry. Dr. Paulson feels prevention is the key to long-​term oral health with emphasis on patient education and total health. His vision is to provide the highest quality of dentistry and also works very close with local specialists to achieve maximum results. He is a graduate of the Dawson Academy for advanced dental studies focusing on occlusal (bite) issues, TMJ, and complex dental problems.

While away from the office Dr. Paulson enjoys hiking, fly fishing, kayaking and and spending time with his family-​wife; Tiffeny, daughter; Emalyn and dog, Stella

Dr Paulson and his staff were very welcoming and extremely thorough. I moved here recently and wanted to find a great dentist — I sure did. They are thorough, knowledgable and personable.
The office is very clean and dental equipment is new age. I was impressed with the professionalism of everyone I came in contact with in the office. My appointment was right on time!

I was really apprehensive about going to the dentist because I hadn’t been in over 5 years. The staff at Arbor Dental was awesome and made me feel comfortable throughout the cleaning and x-​rays. I was also really worried about the pain since my teeth hadn’t been cleaned in awhile and Michelle the hygienist was amazing, I felt very little discomfort. Dr. Chris was also very friendly and knowledgeable. The office was clean and organized and the technology they have is top notch too.

It’s a bit unusual to write a review for a dentist office, but this office does a great job, and I base my most important decisions around reviews, so I want to pass it along.
I’ve been coming here for 1.5 years as a referral from my orthodontist because I needed some implants done. They did a great job with that, not too expensive, and well done with structure and color. Since I needed a new primary dentist anyway, I switched to them. I’ve been very happy. Great cleanings, amazing facility (like seriously amazing), and friendly staff. My hygienist is Shauna and she does a great job. I highly recommend them!

I love Arbor Dental! I have been going all my life & won’t go anywhere else, even when I moved out of state for 2 years. Everyone is nice & friendly, and they make you feel very comfortable. Even my kids enjoy going there! I would recommend them to everyone!
