My daughter walked into a pole on the playground when she was in fifth grade and shattered her two front teeth. She is now a sophomore and has been dealing with a multitude of issues ever since. She had stopped smiling, because her teeth were discolored and misshapen. Until recently, she was ultimately going to lose one her front teeth due to the degree of the fracture. That’s when we were introduced to Dr Huffman and she made all the difference in the world.
Dr Huffman was determined to save my daughters tooth and not only that, she intended to give her a bright new beautiful smile, so she will want to smile again! She did just that. I can’t tell you, as a mother what this means to have my daughter smiling confidently again. I was so impressed with how caring and involved Dr Huffman was through out the whole process. She gave me her personal cell phone number and she called after hours to check on my daughter several times. She took the time to make sure my daughter’s teeth were matching in color with a perfectly natural result… she even took her out into the daylight to assess the match! Dr Huffman is an outstanding dentist with a perfectionistic eye and a compassionate heart. I would highly recommend her to everyone and anyone!!!

Good dentist! Brings your best smile out!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Huffmann yesterday and am very impressed by her. She was professional, thorough, explained everything very well, didn’t try to sell me anything and took her time. She is very well educated and, as a health care professional myself, I can tell she is very bright and knows her stuff. Her office staff was also very welcoming, friendly and efficient. I would absolutely recommend her to family and friends, and plan to do just that. I don’t know what the previous negative review is all about, but that was not my experience AT ALL.

Absolute Superstar Dentist.
I’ve been a patient to a plethora of dentists throughout my life, and no other has inspired me to refer them to friends, family, etc., much less to author a glowing Unilocal review on their behalf (this is my 3^rd review ever written, across all industries) in addition to making such friend/​family/​anyone-​who-​will-​listen referrals to his or her services.
Dr. Huffman is THAT good. A consummate professional, she exudes an unmatched degree of intelligence, attention to detail, dental artistry, dedication, bedside manner, energy and — most importantly — an extraordinary passion for dentistry. Moreover, she is an incredibly charitable individual, having donated more than a decade of her time to the oral care — including complete oral reconstruction in some cases — of a significant number of homeless and handicapped individuals in the Bay Area.
This is not some proud family member and/​or paid review — I am an actual referring patient, thoroughly-​convinced that Dr. Huffman just might be one of the best in the business, anywhere. I, my wife, and many friends have become patients over the last 8 years, and only regret that (1) we did not make her acquaintance sooner, and that (2) our move to Texas has made our dental visits to her substantially less-​convenient (although we continue to do it).
Dr. Huffman receives my/​our highest possible recommendation. As a prospective patient searching for superior dental care, you simply will not be disappointed.

I’ve been going to see Dr. Huffman for a few years now after my old dentist retired and my sister needed a tooth replacement. You can’t even tell my sister has a fake tooth because of Dr. Huffman’s talent. She is incredibly smart and her staff is very kind and helpful. She is an absolute perfectionist, which is a quality that you want in someone fixing your teeth. As she was getting to know me in the beginning, she realized that I wanted to get into the medical field and offered her help… a true class act!

New to the area I was looking for dental office that does not use ultrasonic equipment for cleaning. I have sensitive teeth. After calling a number of offices I found that Dr Huffman’s office does not use an ultrasonic device but she does the cleaning herself. She explained, she does not use a dental hygienist. She has found that during cleanings it’s easier to talk with her patients.
I have had four office visits including a painless cleaning, restoration and a crown replacement. The first visit began with a complete examination, followed with a detail explanation of the condition of my teeth and gums with a recommended list of required and suggested procedures. Her staff presented me with a write-​up of everything Dr Huffman discussed including all the work needed, prioritized with an explanation of what was covered by my insurance policy with all associated costs.
Recently I had an emergency; I contacted her office and was seen immediately. The cause of the problem had been included in the initial analysis and I had postpone addressing the issue; my fault not hers.
I have had more than my share of dental experiences and I found Dr Huffman and her staff to be competent professionals. I particularly like that she takes the time to explain what she is doing, what my choices are while assuring I am comfortable.
She and her staff work well together and based on stories they shared about weekend activities together they are a well-​functioning team that enjoy both working and playing together.

I wasn’t paying attention to the number of stars on my first time around on Unilocal!I tuned back in today and saw that I had left my first review with only four stars. Sorry, Dr. Huffman. I can’t count.
Dr. Leahn Huffman continues to be my dentist. She is still the outstanding person and professional she has always been since I was lucky enough to be referred to her back in 2006.
Believe me when I tell you that I would have had a less-​than-​zero chance at any kind of a future back then. I was in the midst of a weighty bout of depression, just having lost my mother after a very long illness. On top of everything else that goes with being down on myself and the world, I had practically no teeth. They were all either broken or rotted due to neglect.
Dr. Huffman rebuilt my smile and maintains it to this day. I’ve mentioned to Dr. Huffman that my only regret is that we didn’t take photos from the start so that we could do a «Before-​After» comparison.
Dr. Leahn Huffman is 5 stars all the way!!! Can’t say enough great things about her!

Wow, what a wonderful dentist, and that coming from someone who spent the majority of their life being dental phobic!
Dr. Huffman is very professional and has done a fantastic job on helping me to regain my smile, and now I can’t stop smiling. Her staff is terrific and friendly and her little dog is adorable!
I highly recommend Dr. Huffman.

Dr. Leahn Huffman is one of the best dentist that I’ve had. And its not because I work for her. She’s done amazing dentistry on myself & on our patients. She has done many veneer cases & full mouth reconstruction. She has even had a patient who came to us not wanting to smile because the way her teeth looked. At the end of doing full mouth reconstruction the patient cried of happiness & couldn’t stop smiling. Everytime we she comes in for her cleanings she comes in with a big smile. Thats one of the best things about Dr. Huffman, she’s more about a patients needs and is more about the results than what she can benefit from it. I guess thats also why Dr. Huffman work in hospital dentistry at UCSF, she worked with mentally handicapped patients and enjoyed helping others. She’s a great person and a great dentist. If someone asked me who they should go to for dentistry I would say Dr. Huffman.

An appointment for an emergency filling was a perpetual circus of unprofessional conduct.
Leahn Huffman works in the dental industry. But she should switch from teeth to timeshares because she has a talent for selling crap to those naïve enough to trust her.
What dentist expects to be taken seriously wearing fishnets, spiked patent leather boots and a red rubber miniskirt? Was she moonlighting as an extra on a movie I didn’t know about where Pee Wee’s Playhouse hosts the Folsom Street Fair?
I admit to ignoring the warning signs. She was rude to her employees. I should have scrammed when she prevented her secretary from verifying my insurance, resulting in my having to pay for dental work out of my pocket.
