Description

Specialties

We are a BAN-certified, responsible ecollector; an environmental charity, registered as a 501−3© nonprofit under the laws of the State of California and the IRS.

Both of our locations – in Berkeley and in Novato – feature FREE recycling!

Also for residents in Berkeley, we offer FREE pickup.

In addition, your ewaste donation will qualify for a tax deduction.

We donate refurbished computers to under-served portions of the community: including schools, nonprofits, families and individuals.

Thursday Nights we operate a Tech Night from 5pm-9pm, where volunteers can learn how to install operating systems and other software, hard drives, RAM, various cards, etc.

History

Established in 1994.

We are the oldest non-profit recycling center in the Bay Area, operating two centers — one in Berkeley; and the other at our headquarters in Marin County, in Bel Marin Keys.

At one point, we were the largest ecollector in the State. We have regrouped in the last ten years, and are in the midst of a new expansion.

We have been offering free technical training on Thursday nights in our Marin location since 2009.
