This is my go-to liquor store because it is very conveniently located, especially being right by the grocery store. When Im prepping for a party, I can hit food and liquor without even having to move my car! In addition, the selection is pretty good. Its the normal variety of beers, including all the normal names, some seasonal flavors, and some nifty microbrews. The hard liquor variety is awesome, and they are one of the only places in the area that sell both of my favorites liquors(Single Barrel Jack & Kraken Rum). They do have a very large wine selection, but since I am not a wine drinker, I can’t really throw in my 2 cents about that part of their business. To any consumers out there who are like me, partying beer and liquor drinker looking for a convenient location with reasonable prices… check them out. You won’t be sorry.

Went there with a friend who was shopping for a bottle of good wine. OK selection of notable wines, including«Earth friendly» options. However! My friend had to return a bottle the other week with a defective cork, which was very dry, and as she had to dig it out, a piece of glass broke off! She tried three different corkscrews. When she got to the store, the sales person(02) was rather insensitive, He wanted her to buy screw top wines, but didn’t offer sympathy nor a new bottle of wine! Not good customer service! She brought back the cork to show them that it indeed was defective. Local establishments should understand the importance of word of mouth. I told her to contact the store manager. We’re waiting to hear back. She’s a dear lady who just wanted a sip of wine and it turned into a fiasco. We’re hoping it was just an unfortunate and isolated experience. The distributor, if not the retailer, for«19 Crimes» wine or any label, should make it a policy to refund a customer or replace or exchange bottles with defective corks.

Walther liquor is my favorite liquor store in the area. We would go out of the way to come here. While it doesn’t have as big a selection like fine wines they have all the best seasonal beers that others don’t. I was able to find Pumpking and Schlaflys which was not found at the half dozen stores we checked prior. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. And contradictory to the previous review, the wine selection is huge and not only the«cheap, thin stiuff.»

Not a lot of variety beyond the Bud/Miller variety, and most of the wine they carry is the cheap, thin stuff. They carry the usual non-pedestrian beers like Guinness, but those are pretty few and far-between. I’ve asked if they’d carry some specific brands, but in order to do that, they want *me* to commit to purchasing a full case through them. It should be their priority to stock and serve the customer, not be a middleman.
