John is a VERY good instrument repair guy — has done my wife’s flute & my saxes, to our great satisfaction. He got a cheapo Chinese curved soprano playing pretty damn well for me (and you know that techs don’t love working on these horns). Got the lower register on a Vito tenor to pop out more easily (and another tech failed on this one.) Did a killer overhaul on my MkVI alto — and then totally fixed a horrendous fall that knocked the lower stack out of whack.
