I was there to get my bike looked at and tuned up. Eric, Dave and Ash did an excellent job!!! They were super friendly and took care of everything I needed. I felt serious relief after leaving that my bike was in good hands!
I would definitely come back here for all future purchases– the staff seems knowledgeable and trustworthy!

Absolute top notch experience from Dave at Landry’s. I’m new to the sport/​market. Dave put absolutely no pressure on me, was easy to talk to, and incredibly informative. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I love this place. The staff is approachable, friendly and helpful. I bought an awesome horn from here and a great light set for under 40 bucks. After losing a couple of parts that helped the horn stay on my mobility scooter, these guys came up with a permanent solution to help me out. I will be back for more!

Definitely not customer friendly! Once you buy the bike they really lose interest in helping with any questions or concerns. Unless of course your spending more money. Stood in the shop waiting for someone to help me, the person who came over realized I was not buying and told me he would be right with me and helped the next person who came thru the door who was interested in buying!!! I left the store as a result and will go back to international bycycle in Needham!

Nice bike store whether you need a Kid’s bike, a Racing Bike or a Mountain Bike, they have a nice selection in all areas and a competent friendly team there.

Went to the Norwood location to get a tube in the back wheel of my son’s bike replaced. They did the job in 30′. When I picked up the bike, and carried it to the car, I noticed that the training wheels were put on sloppily, i.e. unevenly. Not a big problem, so I didn’t bring it to their attention.
Once I got home and took the bike out of the trunk, I noticed that the front tire was now flat. Filling it with air didn’t help, as the air quickly ran back out. I don’t know why the bike with perfectly working front tire was returned to me with a flat front tire — I really wish I tried both tires out in the store, but now I’m stuck replacing the tube in the front tire as well…
Will not come again and wish I went somewhere else the first time.

I really like Landry’s! In short, they helped me to get the bike I’ve been dreaming of within my budget and I never felt pressured.
Last summer I starting looking to buy a bike with as many American-​made components as possible for around $ 3000. I called around to about 6 different bike shops near my home (Hyde Park) and work (Fenway) and all said it wasn’t possible (frame had to be American) My last call before I gave up and bought a $ 800 Trek was to Landry’s — not only were they willing to work with me, they were excited about the challenge. They custom fitted me for a new Seven frame, helped me limp my 20 yr old bike along until the new bike was ready and played around with different components — SRAM, Vicious, Thompson, etc to make sure we met my budget, and deciding where to compromise — Shimano front dérailleur, Armadillo tires. I did end up exceeding the original budget by a bit cause I HAD to have a custom paint job, ($ 300) and because a couple of parts we had assumed we’d be able to scavenge from my old bike failed in the meantime.
I took delivery of the bike in November and was so excited, but there were a couple of problems… One of the tires exploded (twice) The first time they just put in a new tube and the second time they modified the wheel and it’s been great since. I’ve had a lot of trouble finding a seat and they’ve been working with me to find the PERFECT seat. Everyone at the shop has been incredibly supportive. I know them all by name and even better, they know me! They’ve helped me pick out all kinds of new accessories for the bike — rack, panniers, lights… I walked in one day about a month after I got the bike and asked for reflectors for the spokes (it was December and I was commuting in the dark) I walked out with some of the coolest LED lights for my forks, I’ll never miss those old reflectors!

This is by far the worst experience i have ever had at a bike shop and I have been riding for over 15 years.
First of all there was next to nothing in this shop that had anything to do with BMX aside from one complete p.o.s. bike. Pretty interesting since they are listed as an FBM retailer.
Secondly they knew nothing of bike tech. I brought my brand new SUnday Funday in to have a new crank put on. I only brought it to them because they said they could have it done by the end of the day and I had a competition coming up I needed to practice for. Big mistake. By the next afternoon the bike still wasn’t done. When i asked why I was told they needed a bigger hammer. A BIGGER HAMMER? Why are they even touching my bike with any hammer let alone one bigger than you would find in a bike shop? There is a tool called a crank puller, I should think a bike shop would invest in one.
I gritted my teeth and waited patiently for the call. Finally just before closing day 2 the bike was ready to be picked up. Fine. I went and got it, went to a local skate park, rode for five minutes when I realized my chain went slack and my rear tire was rubbing my brakes. No big deal, see, Sunday has these nifty little inventions called INTEGRATED CHAIN TENSIONERS, so with a little turn of an allen key I should have been back on my bike. Should’ve been, but these asshats broke one of my chain tensioner, then tried to hide it from me by screwing the remaining one all teh way back into the frame. I spent the next three days calling, but the little punk that broke my BRAND NEW FRAME called out sick and was gone. Nobody else in the bike shop had any clue at all what integrated chain tensioners were. Knowledgeable my ass. They are literally the best things to happen to bikes since the wheel and an entire shop full of «mechanics» couldn’t figure out what they were. Finally on the 4^th day the kid still wasn’t there and someone else offered to have me bring the bike all the way back there so they cold figure out what went wrong and order the part. No offer for a refund of the 45 bucks the took from me to break my bike. Which I might add, 45 bucks to put a crank on is a ridiculous price.
I still haven’t gone back. Dick Maul’s in Halifax gave me the part they broke for free.
So my final summation is this, they are over priced, under skilled, ill equipped, and if they break your stuff they will go completely out of their way to hide it from you, instead of warning you there is a problem with your bike.
Now I will say this, my experience is with the Norwood location. But I see place to review said location on Unilocal,and given that it is a chain, I stand by my review and will not be returning to any location that carries the Landry name.
