Manny Newman opened Dart Sales Inc. in 1969 selling US and European manufactured sunglasses to the popular stores of the day: including :

Jordan Marsh, Filenes and Filenes Basement.

Having studied Literature and Economics at UMASS Amherst and International Business at Mcgill University in Montréal.

Art joined the business in 1982 to help Dad work with current accounts and develop other niche areas.

Art dreamed of joining the peace corp, but had his work cut out for him at home.

Helping grow the family business, work with Dad for over 20 years and enjoy volunteering for many worthy organizations has helped lead to a fulfilling personal life and career.

Nice store with a great selection of unique and lovely things including costume jewelry, readers/​cheaters, sunglasses, scarves, shawls, children’s items, etc. Most items are sold by the dozen and are great for fundraisers, flea markets or small boutiques. The store is well organized and nicely laid out. The prices are the cheapest you’ll find anywhere while the quality is top notch. They have some really beautiful things. The staff is professional and offer a «help you with anything» and «can do» attitude. A+ I hope this place never goes away!

Hard to find (internet directions were not accurate) it is 1 or 2 buildings behind the vanderbuilt club in a strip-​section of an industrial park that you access from route 1.
This place is a warehouse-​style (not huge like costoc or bj’s) on the small to medium size… wholesale store…
It would take less than an hour to go through…
most items are sold by the dozen or the case.
Items of all kinds… sunglasses, kids stuff (small toys), costume jewelry… looks like stuff for fundraisers, schools and/​or flea markets.
They have an unusual pricing system/​code, but the employess were nice and helpful about explaining it and then it was easy.
