I’ve been here 4 times now and always leave a happy guy. I don’t know how they were trained, but they need to teach other barbers how it’s done right.
Very nice people that work here. They’re quick, but take their time to do it right — hopefully that makes sense, they strike a good balance. Oh, and the price is right! They deserve all of their success.

Supercuts had no patience for my squirmy, sensitive toddler so I came to Unilocal and found Chris & Sam’s. Of course it didn’t go perfectly, my son is a typical three-​year-​old. But the barber was patient and talked to him the whole time and did an amazing job. The kids area is great, the fire truck and police car seats, tv with cartoons and superhero decals provide enough distraction and entertainment for even the most energetic kid. Will definitely come back and recommend to anyone else!

We came here because we were referred by some locals (I am from Chicago). This place is awesome Amir was super professional and extremely friendly. By far one of the best experiences I have had at a barbershop!!!

I had a haircut earlier today and I was kind of in a rush, when I got home I realized I needed a trim, I went back to Elias who had done a fantastic job earlier and he fixed me up no questions asked! The service here is fantastic, a very neighborhood feel to it, and everyone who works there makes it a very welcoming experience! By far the best shop in the area!

Amazing service! I brought my 17 month old here as a walk in for a hair cut, we were immediately put in the kid’s corner and in a nice little police car seat, they also had a fire truck! My son had a total epic melt down while getting his hair cut, crying and screaming. The poor man who was cutting his hair was great! He never lost patience, he was gentle, trying to talk to my son and calm him down. He put on a movie, he put on the noises on the little car he was sitting in, he was great. I felt so bad for him but he gave my son a great hair cut! Best hair cut he has had and he has had 4! (He has a lot of hair). I hope they let me back in a few months!

There is such casual vibe about the place. Everyone seems very comfortable and skilled at their jobs. Ask for Elias, he will take care of you.

Love this place for my son. Very good barbers here for adults and children. They have An area for kids with a fire truck and police car seats as well as a TV playing good stuff for kids. I love them! Very kid friendly.

I’m writing this review after having gone to both Impeccable Barber and this barber shop.
Time: Wait time, haircut, hot razor shave, and wash took less than an hour!
Price: At 18 bucks for all the services you get… Amazing value
Quality: Great haircut, got exactly what I wanted.
Overall: Amazing price for the services and an even better haircut. Couldn’t ask for more.
If you are debating whether or not to go to another barber in Norwood, I’d choose this shop.

First time here. I got Amir. Two words fantastic fantastic! At some point he looked so focused I thought he was sculpting a masterpiece. He took care of my hair I tell you. Also got a neck shave and everything, love the old school touch. Coming back for sure!

Best salon in town! I go to Amir he’s very professional and talented! He gave me a great hair cut and very good beard lined up! Much recommended!

Got a cut from Sam and he’s not only great with his scissor and razor, he’s fun to converse with. You can tell he really enjoys his work and shows through his interactions with his staff and customers. Will be going back for sure.

We take our boys (4 & 2) here, always quick, friendly service and great stylish cuts! The boys love the fire truck and police car seats. We’ve had various barbers and they all do a great job and are very patient and good with the kids!

Needed a haircut and I’m out of town. Long way from San Diego, CA. Walked in and enjoyed this place very pro police/​firemen. Thanks Chris great job! If your a out of town copper or firemen stop in and bring a patch for the wall they have. IOU a LAPD PATCH I’ll send it to ya!!!

My 4.5 year old son needed a haircut and we both needed something to do. I asked him if I wanted to go to the Barber and he got super psyched. We stared going through Unilocal to find a kid friendly place and stumbled upon Chris and Sam’s barber shop reviews. One Unilocal user detailed a story about her four and five year old sons who were scared of the Barber. She explained how the friendly staff was very patient and wiped the tears from her son’s eyes. Now, my son is anything but scared of the barber at this point in his life, but I wanted to find a local, kid friendly place.
Upon visiting the website we discovered that Chris and Sam are brothers living the American dream by opening their own business. Additionally, we found pictures of some of the barber’s chairs. My son lost it when he saw the kid’s chairs — a fire truck and a police car. We were sold.
We walked in and were greeted by Sam himself. He led us to the back where the kids area was and let my son pick a chair (the firetruck). The kids area was covered in Spider-​Man, batman, minion, and cars decals on the walls. Sam put an «angry birds» covering on him and asked me what kind of cut we were looking for. We wanted a short summer cut as my son’s hair was long, curly, and had a mind of its own. Sam got to work with the «buzzy», then moved on to cutting and thinning. He was very patient and gentle, especially since my son was having a hard time keeping his head still while pressing buttons and «driving» the firetruck. When it was over, he let my son play in the police car for awhile while I paid ($ 15). My son was more than happy to run to Sam and give him a tip. He squealed in delight the whole way home saying how cool Chris and Sam’s was.
I’m a deal seeker, coupon clipper, and bargin buyer, but I don’t often go to the Barber or the salon. I don’t know if $ 15 is a decent price for a kid’s haircut, but I know it isn’t bad. When you factor in the excellent service, kid friendly atmosphere, cool car shaped barber’s chairs with sounds and flashing lights, and an ecstatic 4 yr old, it’s so worth it.

I’m sure a good haircut is just as important to you as it is to me. A quality, consistent barber is hard to find in this area but I luckily found Elias out of Chris and Sam’s Barber shop.
Elias takes his time to give you exactly what you’re looking for in a cut. He gave me an amazing skin fade for my trip to Vegas and I come to him 2 times a month for my «professional part» — he does it all.
If you care what your hair looks like, see Elias — he will take care of you.

Got another cut here today and let me tell you, it’s the truth. I had the pleasure of having Elias, who gave me the equivalent of the «Edelman» and it was a pristine cut. If you want to look your best, and deal with really nice people who aren’t looking to overcharge you but just make sure you like your cut, come here. You won’t regret it.

Saw this place on Unilocal and tried it out cuz its close to work.
I had Elias, he listen to what i wanted and did great job. All the guys seem really nice and look like they care about what they do.

Amazing services — my boyfriend came here the day of a friend’s wedding two weeks ago. We saw the barber pole and went in. The wait was worth it — saw many local people who appeared to be loyal customers and the barber, Sam, did a wonderful job with a razor — he’s hooked on barber shops now!
