History

Established in 1941.

Rocco’s Inn was owned between 1933 and 1935 by Rocco Battista. The restaurant was sold in 1941 to Fred Biermien who named it the current name of Fred’s Inn. Fred sold half interests in the business to Carl Genneris and Mudd Fuller in 1952. Wolfgang Bolger purchased the Inn in 1974. The restaurant was purchased in 1977 by Armando «Chick» Cirello who currently owns and operates the business with his partner, son David. Fred’s boasts of fine casual dining for groups of 2 – 200. In 1998 six upscale guest rooms were added to the property. Two years later Fred’s Inn was home to 25 guest rooms with amenities including high speed internet access in every room, Jacuzzi suites with fireplaces, a handicapped accessible room with man down alarm, microwaves, hairdryers, irons, and complimentary coffee pots.
