Established in 2013.

Dennis has been counseling athletes since 1984, mainly as a top flight pitching instructor at Pitching Easy, LLC. His confidence-​building approach has transferred to success for others in various sports, professions, and walks of life. Dennis Long’s Athletic Advantage is a formalized plan to mental success for athletes, coaches, and families.

Business Owner

Dennis’ athletic career spans over 30 years, from a two sport athlete at UConn followed by a minor league baseball career, three decades of individualized baseball instruction, as well as high school and college coaching experience. He has a B. S from UConn and a Masters in Sport and Perfomance Psychology from The University of the Rockies (Colorado Springs, CO). This unique blend of playing, coaching, and sport-​specific education separates Dennis and the Athletic Advantage programs from regular sports training. Elite athletes possess mental strength.
