History

Established in 1984.

Image Resolutions was started by Phyllis after she had her second baby and wanted to work from home. She worked out of a small office off the kitchen on her Apple II and soon had more work that she could do alone and hired Ann. Phyllis and Ann quickly outgrew the small office and moved the business to the basement of the house and at that time, Phyllis’ husband Bill and Ann’s daughter Jean joined the team. They went from a small administrative assistant type business to a prepress production company and bought their first Linotronic. As this business took off Kim was added to the mix and soon they outgrew the basement and moved to a condo in Hanover. Once there, they hired Laura who became their large format specialist. In the blink of an eye, Image Res outgrew this space as well and moved to their current location in Norwell. The Lino is no longer in operation, but they now have Ed and Phil who operate a 4-​color and a 2-​color press and ImageRes is now a full service printing company.
