Every time I go to Utopia, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, whether I’m buying e-​juice, clothing, jewelry, etc. I went in today to buy some coils and e-​juice for my vape, & Dan was incredibly helpful, suggested several flavors and even repaired a problem I was having on my vape. He spent a lot of time helping me. I suggest Utopia for all your vaping needs, & definitely ask for Dan when you are there!

To any credit card holders that mistakenly believe they were charged twice. This is Utopia’s credit card processor. Around May 5^th Utopia was in the process of upgrading their POS to accept EMV Chip cards. Unfortunately the transactions over a 3 day period were never batched only authorized. The acquiring bank IPayment had to manually batch each transaction that was never batched which took a few weeks to recreate accurately using the SAME authorization # that your bank originally gave Utopia when you made your purchase You can also tell by looking at your statement and seeing you were only charged once. I’ve only shopped upstairs at the smoke shop and the customer service is incredible. The guy who seems to specialize in the vapes (I think his name is Dan) is especially awesome. He answers any question I have, makes great recommendations, and always goes above and beyond. I could not recommend him any higher.

This place legit has everything you need. From glass to vapes, it’s got all the smoke accessories you need at a discounted price. The quality is top notch and they have a huge selection for whatever you need. No place in Fairfield County compares I promise you. If your looking for smoke products this is the place to be. Not to mention they know what they are talking about. The homie Dan helped me find exactly what I was looking for and he knew his shit. Defiantly recommend hitting this place up.

Came here for a new size 14 slide. Was greeted by Dan who showed me the case with the slides and I made my selection. Dan was chill and knowledgeable and store was not too busy so I thought I would test out Dan’s knowledge for use in purchasing a new piece in the future. Dan took me through some different higher end pieces and we discussed what each various chamber and diffuser were adding to the process of a clean hit. Dan then mentioned to me that there was a 50% off rack with a few interesting pieces.
The final outcome was a new knowledge base for me, a new piece from the 50% off rack that I purchased even though I did not come in with that as a goal. Dan showed me the unique value of the piece and the 50% off meant It had to come home with me. Dan did not try to force a more expensive piece on me which would have resulted in no purchase.
Newbie or head… you will be taken care of at Utopia. Shout out to «Dan…the Man…» Peace.

Came here for coils and liquid and was kindly greeting by Bobby. He was professional and gave me great insight into selecting the right vape for my palette. The store is spacious and carries a vast selection of products. I had been going to Sovereign for months but the experience has become awkward and clicky. I will now be going to Utopia from now on.

Definitely a good experience browsing here! A little overpriced for my budget at the moment, but the customer service was awesome and they had a great selection! Would definitely return!

I haven’t been here for a few years since it’s a bit out of the way, but it seems things have changed and I should really go check it out again! I remember visiting in the early 2000’s and being like a kid in a candy store between all of the band and other graphic tees, the awesome wall hangings, and the array of beaded door curtains. I remember getting a band tee and a beaded door curtain, both of which I believe were reasonably priced. The ambiance was pretty cool too: not so edgy that it’s off-​putting, but not so sterile that it’s unwelcoming and fake. Either way, it left a good enough impression that over a decade later, I’m feeling the need to give credit where it’s due!

This was my first experience there, I stopped by to check out what they had as far as advanced e-​cig items. I must say the staff was beyond friendly, helpful & knowledgeable about products & current trends.
They have a large selection of rda’s, rta’s, mechanical & regulated mods along with other necessary accessories. I would definitely return to make another purchase & I would definitely recommend this place to my family, friends & co-​worker

Just tried calling several times and the line is always busy! V frustrating and not a good sign. I may not stop by due to this issue.

The woman who works upstairs is really nice if you’re not a jerk. I no longer have any use for the items sold upstairs but Ive had many pleasant encounters with her when I did. Also, when it was a Halloween shop upstairs she helped me many times. If I remember correctly she really likes Nikki Sixx and has some cool bat tattoos. I think shes a nice person– Having worked Retail for many years I know people are annoying. I’m sure just like everyone else in the world she has her good days and her bad.
There’s another woman who works downstairs in the piercing jewelry section. She’s really nice and helpful. Any time Ive gone in there looking for something specific shes helped me find what I’m looking for. I’m also particular about the way my septum ring sits in my nose and she let me use the tool to adjust it myself which i really appreciated.
Basically, the prices are a tad high but It’s nice to be able to just go there and get what I want instead of waiting a week for it to come when I order it online. The fact that the staff is nice and helpful makes it nice too.

Great selection of outdoor extreme sporting equipment. 5 stars on the main level of this store.
1 star on the headshop. They claim to have the largest selection of oil rigs in the state and that’s an outright lie. They had one section of the wall with rigs. And their knowledge of their products absolutely sucks. The guy they called their ‘dab expert’ tried to tell me a knockoff toro double Mac was an internal recycler. I found what I needed, but it was embarrassing to get to that point.

There’s writing a negative review and then there’s just plain nasty. Some of these reviewers are just cruel.
I have never once had a bad experience here. The lady that works upstairs isn’t the type to smile in your face and kiss your ass. I don’t care as long as people help me when I need it and she does. She has always been extremely helpful everytime I go, even when there are groups of six or seven customers at one time, as there were last night. I needed something, asked where it was, she helped me quickly and I was out of there within five minutes. One time I went, their credit card machines were down, I figured I was going to have to come back another day. Nope. She wrote my info down and I left my cell phone number I’m case there were any problems. Just because someone isn’t Miss Sunshine grinning in your face, doesn’t mean they don’t give good customer service. I can’t speak on the other part of the store because I have never shopped there, but the lady upstairs is awesome.

I usually only go here for the tobacco section, so I can’t speak on behalf of other parts of the store, I’ve never really looked.
I have a hookah and they have a wide variety of different shisha flavors and brands. Their supplies such as coal and clay bowls are very reasonably priced, and the shisha is well priced as well. I have always received good customer service and they always let me smell a bunch of flavors before I make a purchase.
There is a variety of other smoking and tobacco products. Again, since I only smoke hookah and shisha I don’t really know what it is. But there’s a lot of it. :)

Under new management I think. Very customer unfriendly. All the other reviews mentioned expensive. I agree. If you get good service, I wouldn’t necessarily care about spending a few extra dollars. However, when you get mediocre advice coupled with lousy customer service, I would rather order online. It’s cheaper with a better collection of stuff. my 2 cents.

Great head shop. Love their T-​shirts, have for all ages. Nice throws too. Have lots of skate stuff, though I’m not a skate boarder so can’t rate that department. I LOVE SHOPPING HERE!

Utopia is kinda expensive buuuuuut, I guess without it Norwalk wouldn’t be Norwalk?
For teens, this is a great place to get trendy clothes, jewelry and smoking paraphernalia. If you or your teen likes to puff on the cancer sticks, they have a very wide selection of that too.
One time, a few years back, an undercover officer tried to get me to buy a bowl for him «to smoke weed out of». Really? And I thought the NPD had bigger fish to fry than a headshop. Like, you know, the crack trafficking bar on Bouton St! Well, ok, so they took down the crack bar…
During halloween time, they open their upstairs and sell all sorts of expensive Halloween stuff. They have some good stuff. I mean, it is what it is. It’s higher quality than Party City, and Party City blows.

Okay, so this place has been around in one form or another since the 1970’s. Let’s face it, they keep up with the times, the don’t forget the past and they sell products that are sufficient and last for quite a while.
Sounds like a keeper ;)
