We are an alternative to the emergency room for non-life threatening illnesses and injuries. We have extended hours 365 days a year, with locations across the state. No appointment necessary.
History
Established in 2008.
Formerly known as Urgent Care of Connecticut, PhysicianOne Urgent Care was established in 2008 in Southbury, CT by three local physicians: Dr. Jeannie Kenkare, Dr. Bernd Woerner, and Dr. Robert Rohatsch.
In the years that have followed since, PhysicianOne has set the gold standard in Connecticut for acute care of non-life threatening medical conditions. We’re proud to be the first physician-owned urgent care center in the state to be certified by the Urgent Care Association of America, and the only independent urgent care provider in New England to be accredited by The Joint Commission. We have also been included on the list of Top Workplaces in 2012, 2013, and 2014 — honors of special significance, because the list measures employee satisfaction.
