I was visiting my family from San Francisco and picked the closest place that looked professional. My manicurist was friendly and VERY detailed. Her name was Bella, and she happened to speak fluent English, though not everyone there did. English speaking is certainly not a prerequisite for me, but for those who are hesitant about an Asian-run establishment, don’t let this be a barrier to you visiting Floris. In SF, any manicurist and I are almost always muddling through rough translations to one another, and my nails always look wonderful. She did a great job on my gel manicure and my pedicure, then cleaned up my eyebrows perfectly. The place is clean, nicely decorated, with massage chairs that actually WORK. I was very happy.

This is my go-to nail salon every 2 weeks for gel mani and spa pedicure. I usually leave satisfied with the services provided. However, certain employees do a far better job than others. Since they are a busy salon, I have never requested anyone specific to make it easier on them. I will start requesting as of my next visit since my last gel manicure chipped within 2 days and was sloppily done by the manager. Bella, though, is great and takes her time which I appreciate. Overall, they could spend a little more time with each customer to make it truly feel like a «spa» experience. Because of this, I stopped doing regular pedicures and always opt for their sea salt pedicures to ensure I am taken care of.

Gets frustrating when there is a language barrier. You have to ask someone to translate. But to keep needing help to ask simple things like, massage harder or I don’t like cucumber scent I’ll be sick… Then have it used because they yes you to death and didn’t understand a word you said to begin with is SO irritating. The massage on shoulders never disappoints or brows. The pedicure if you like a person less«gentle» make this known or you get a sweet kid and they think everything hurts lol. I don’t know, maybe it’s me but if I’m going to pay $ 60 for a pedicure simply because you are in Westport, you better know what the person wants.

I have been coming here for years. Hands down the best nail salon around. Everyone who works here are wonderful.

This place is disappointing. It is quite nice inside, and the couple of times I have gone in there I have had high hopes, and each time I’ve wound up either bleeding, with hot wax on my face, or a weirdly shaped finger nail. I won’t return.

I will never go here again. I had been twice before and received a mediocre pedicure and manicure. Because I was close by, I stopped in for a manicure. The woman butchered my nails and left them uneven, with hangnails and they were even bleeding. She used a cuticle cutter as a nail clipper, which lead them to be misshaped and my skin nipped. What a disaster!

This is a gem of a nail salon. You never feel rushed and the girls are very professional and great at what they do. Love coming here, ask for Kelly she does an excellent job on gel manicure and pedicures.

Awesome staff and best pedicures around. The place is not near busy enough for the quality of work. Love this place. I haven’t found better

I’ve gone to Floris off and on for the past 5 years — they’ve changed owners at least 4 times and the current management is the worst I’ve seen. I used to really love this place, and the people who worked here but because this new guy is either cheap or some kind of tyrant all the really good people who worked here have left. They have also managed to run off the best facialist they had. I went for a facial on 04÷07÷13 and ended with an eye irritation because the new person didn’t know what she was doing when she removed the mask and I ended up with it in both eyes — very uncomfortable! She didn’t even have the courtesy to admit she’d made a mistake and actually tried to blame it on me. Will not be going there again and would NOT recommend it to anyone ever again.

So my gel chipped. four days in. Which should never happen. I was bummed thatI’d have to redo the whole thing a week early. BUT, I went back to Floris and they fixed it for me, no charge, and were very apologetic. I think it’s because I chose OPI this week, so I will be back to Shellac next time. Five stars for standing by their work, and fixing my crisis.

I tried this nail salon based on a recommendation from a co-worker. It’s clean and the staff is friendly. My manicure was only $ 10(including tax) and it came with an amazing massage.

First time patron at Floris — I thought their prices for spa pedicures were about $ 10 too expensive but that was my only real gripe. My manicurist was extremely nice and courteous and took her time. Big place, nice and clean. I’m likely to go back.

Rude and pushy. The woman who did my pedicure was in such a hurry that the polish is all streaky and uneven. And the place was empty except for my group, so it’s not like people were waiting. Hard upsells with a ton of attitude when I declined. No exfoliation, no callus treatment, lotion that wasn’t even rubbed in. I never saw anyone cleaning out the pedicure footbaths. Doesn’t mean they didn’t do it after my group left, but I’ve never seen them not cleaned as soon as the pedi is over. Avoid this place.

Nice atmosphere, nice employees. Slightly pushy and rushed, though it was an hour before closing.
