love this place! I’ve been going here for a few years already and I don’t have any complaints other than its always full. so i suggest you make an appointment. romy is the best she fixed my jacked up eyebrows when the employee at ziba ruined them. I’m one happy camper. defiantly recommend this place to everyone.

One star for the rude employee last nite ((12÷5÷2014 at 5pm. wish I would of gotten her name)). After reading good reviews I decided to give this place a try. Well. got there around 4:40…signed in and put that I was there for eyelash extensions… well after she was done with the ladies before me (3 of them) & went twice to look at the clipboard.. She continued to have me wait til she was done. Well finally it was my time and so she asked what I was there for and I said eyelash extensions ((which was on the board)).then asked for her charge. she said…“Hmmmm $ 40.” I said Ohh okay. thinking that’s a bit pricy but it’s okay ill do it. then asked her the sizing.. She mumbled and then showed them to me. I was like okay kool lets just do this. When I was about to sit down she me told me «Not today, can’t do it cause I’m here alone.» I was like huh. I’m sorry u can’t today because you’re here alone? ?? She said yes come tomorrow or make an appointment. .I was like No thank you and walked out and she was trying to convince me to make an appt. LET ME JUST SAY THE SHOP WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY. NO OTHER CUSTOMERS WERE IN THERE. I dont remember seeing a sign that says they can refuse their service to anyone or that you had to make an appt to get eyelash extensions… I MAY be wrong but I looked around and didn’t see it.

Absolutely the best place to get eyebrows done. If I can’t get them done here, I just won’t bother. Very friendly and always follow my directions.
The owner is awesome. Her work is exceptional. Even if she doesn’t see me for 3 months, she always remembers my name. Nice to know she cares about her customers.
If you notice, people that complained didn’t complain about the work. This is the place to go. I’ve been to other places and they DON’T COMPARE.

Best facials for only $ 40. What a steal. My skin feels great. I normally pay $ 80 anywhere else.

Highly recommend this place! I am always wary of getting my brows threaded beacuse every other place ive been to finds some way to either over thread or misshape my brows; EVERY place. With that being said, I came in as a walk in only because I had fifteen minutes to spare and they took me in right away. They did a beautiful job and I was very happy with the shape. Next time for sure im trying their facials because I heard they were all natural and for forty dollars you cant beat it. 7 dollars for threading and 29 dollars for a face wash (dermatologica is pricey but I didnt mind spending a little more for quality) I spent 36 + 5 dollar tip I left a very satisfied customer. I made the mistake of going to one of the other threader ladies and not my usual and she ended up effing my brows up to the max. took forever for them to grow out but its okay. lesson learned: do not stray from your usual.

I stopped by on a friday night about 30 minutia before they closed. The lady who greeted me was very nice and happen to be the same lady that did my brows. I explained to her what i wanted and surprisingly she followed my instructions perfectly. I say surprisingly because most places always always take off too much. I was pleasantly surprised that she did such a great job. The price is reasonable in my opinion $ 7. The only reson why i did not give them 5 stars is because they have a fee for using debit, which the lady did not tell me about. I saw it on my receipt and that’s how i found out. This was my first time here and over all i would definitely be back.
Oh and i forgot to mention that the ladies hands smelled nice, which i appreciate. I’ve gone to other places and man their hands smell like their luch, unpleasant!

The owner of this establishment is great as is her staff. Eyebrows are great but the facials are affordable and effective. Once you hit over 37 yrs of age it’s time to throw some money towards your skin. This is the place to do that.

I came by this place on my lunch break on a Thursday afternoon.
I figured I have time, a lil’ money, and a hell of a lot of hair on my brows… so here I came.
As I walked in, the place was empty and the first lady that greeted me (I did not catch her name) was the lady that handled my brows. Usually it takes about 5 min to give me a clean up, but she took about 10, which didn’t bother me at the very least. She was carefull and it wasnt painfull at all, so I give her super stars for that!
I think this place is moderately priced, at $ 7 for eyebrows and at a great location.

Since i moved around the corner from this place I’ve been coming here at least 2 a month. The ladies here are pleasant, fast and efficient. The atmosphere is great and so are the prices. Love this place!

i’ve had bad experiences with ladies threading my eyebrows and leaving them thin, short, and ugly but with romy i can never complain, she knows how to shape the eyebrows to ones unique face which is very important, i’m so happy n pleased to have found this place and her in it)

I only give them the one star, being generous here, due to the fact the girl did do a fairly decent job on threading my eyebrows and lip. I did have her go over the top of my brow again since there was quite a few stragglers of hair still there. Overall one star for threading.
NOW…were they lose 4 stars by charging me $ 4 extra when I specifically told her to take off the tip, which was the $ 4. All I can warn customers is to bring cash since they charge a fee for using debit and I don’t even think they take credit. PLUS she quoted me one price, and when I called to dispute the charge for adding the extra amount, she told me «I told you I total was $ 12.» Um, you quoted me $ 11 then $ 11.50 was what you where going to charge for the service fee of 50 cents. $ 11 and $ 12 are pretty damn different so now she’s quoting me an extra dollar and making me seem like I didn’t understand her. Uh, no lady… you’re just making up your own price obviously when I told you to take off the $ 4 tip to make it $ 11.50. I’m now positive they make up their own prices to each customer, especially new customers, to charge them more. Disputing the charge with my bank now since I’m not about to deal with poor customer service. Shame on you for losing a customer… even though you’re closer to where I live, I’d rather drive to Cerritos for better customer service AND cheaper prices.

I adore this place. I have been coming here since it opened not too long ago and the staff is totally friendly. I get my eyebrows done by the owner. She has always been nice and attentive and never screws up my eyebrows.
Every time i go somewhere else to get my eyebrows done, something always goes wrong and i find myself going back to Happy Skin Care to get my eyebrows fixed.

they also offer other typical services like facials and henna. I havent tried them yet but i most likely will in the future: D

So I happened to be in the (random, suburban, nondescript) area for a weird work assignment. I have 30 minutes. I see threading salon. Sweet.
The indian ladies quoted me RIDICULOUSLY cheap prices for threading. So much so that I acquiesced to their suggestion of adding lip to my brow.
Chick did a craaaazy fast job, which impressed me. I was yowling in pain with the lip, but I knew that would likely happen. I was looking good.
But then…
She nicked me twice under the eyebrows with her too fast thread… yes, blood. AND, she left the hair on my face. I was wiping it and I asked her if she had any antiseptic.
She produces.
I kid you not…
A bottle of Dermalogica something alpha hydroxy acid exfoliating lotion. Before I can stop her she DABS IT ON MY BLOODY WOUND. I screech and yell at her that that product is fracking meant to DESTROY YOUR SKIN!!!
I seriously think that this salon should be investigated by the public health department. They didn’t even have a first aid kit!!!

I was impressed. The lady who did my eyebrows is named «Sur». She didn’t have bad breath or any BO. She was really nice.
The salon was packed, but it seemed as though things were moving quickly. Sur took her time, and gave me plenty of time to look over her work.
I didn’t feel rushed and she did a great job.

I’m torn as I write this review… b/​c as much as I wanted to like this place — I just didn’t. The woman who did my eyebrows was so nice and I know this is her place, so I’d like to see her thrive… but sadly — she is SO SLOW! I was sitting in the chair for what felt like 20 minutes… that is unheard of in the threading world!
In addition, she had a women there who she was training. This other lady was nasty! She did my stache and seeing the proximity of her hands to my nose… I nearly threw up. Her hands smelled like food, I’m not talking strawberries and honey… but more like garlic and nasty. I was squirming the whole time. It was disgusting. And to add insult to the stench… this women was making this ugly sucking nose with her teeth… you know the food stuck in my teeth, let me suck it out noise!

As close as this is to my friend’s house, there is no way I’d come back. But I do suggest, if you’re in the area and have some time to spare, come here. She does an excellent job, just slow. You’ll kinda know who the good one is, she runs the shop and her station is on the right hand side of the salon.
