Fleur de Lis Academy, with over 50 professional classes and workshops, offers superior dance instruction in a nurturing environment to encourage grace, poise, pride and a love of dance; Manners workshops, Cotillion program & dining tutorials developing courtesy and respect for others; and three types of complete party packages: Dance Parties, Enchanted Teas or Upscale Soirees.

Our facility offers two floors of beautiful studios, state-​of-​the-​art sound systems, ample parking, a gorgeous lobby with free WiFi, European styling, convenient location, and on-​site dance store.

It offers programs in the fine arts of Dance, Classical Ballet, Mommy & Me, Broadway Jazz, Tap and Musical Theater and in the social skills of Manners, Etiquette and Cotillion. Each distinct program offers traditional values to ensure that our young girls and boys develop age appropriate poise, confidence and classic morals. Programs are consistently recognized for excellence by educators, attendees and the community. Our back to basics approach ensures our students and dancers enjoy their childhood with educational and dance classes that inspire them to use their intellect, stretch their imaginations, and compel them to find respect for themselves and others.

Business Owner

Michelle Sperry is te Founder and Director of Fleur de Lis Academy. With more than 24 years combined experience as an attorney, educator, event planner, performer, artistic director and sales & marketing specialist, she has presented numerous seminars, facilitated workshops, developed educational & artistic programs & camps, and pioneered and chaired numerous social and charitable events throughout Michigan, North Carolina and New England. She is dynamic, engaging and sincere speaker and presents her training and lessons through direct instruction, interactive sessions, hands-​on activities, soft-​skills, social dance, and role playing. Utilizing her repeated successes in performing arts, education, and event planning and drawing on her life experiences as a mother of four, Ms. Sperry has created Fleur de Lis Academy with the purpose of inspiring children and young adults to become leaders, valuable contributors to their communities, and conscientious citizens globally.
