Horrible Front Desk!!!
I’ve been coming here for over a year now and now totally disappointed with their front desk.
I went in on Tuesday where it wasn’t super busy but the front desk was so interrupting. The receptionist was training a new staff while talking to me as I checked out. I really didn’t know who was she speaking to as she kept switching her conversation between the staff and myself. As I made some inquiries on my wax-​pass payment, she just left while I had not finished my question. The manager then continued. As it was confusing for me in terms of the payment schedule for the wax-​pass i purchased. I suggested them next time print out the payment schedule + the amount for each payment at the beginning so customers can keep track. Guess what they responded? They told me «You can note down in the phone yourself since I can’t do anything with this millenium system». I felt like I was talking to the DMV instead. I wonder if it was your standard of customer service EWC. And I hope your staff know how to use Word or Excel for that piece of info that I suggested. I will move on after I finish with my prepaid pass.

After coming here for a few years now, I always count on Megan (been there for a long time, works at front desk) to help me schedule anything and she always lets me know when packages are more cost efficient or there’s a student sale!
Also, if you’re looking for an eyebrow EXPERT, you need to see Kenia. She works wonders and makes sure I always leave with my eyebrows looking perfect!

The front desk staff is very friendly, especially Megan. Nina did an amazing job on my eyebrows. The special wax at EWC makes the experience less painful than other places. Their enhancing serum (Restore It) actually works really well!

I love it here. I’ve been coming for over a year religiously and always recommend it. I see Rosa who is the most adorable and very outgoing. I always leave in a good mood, they are so friendly and I love Sherry at the front desk.
The wax is their own TM wax. It’s great and they will go in and try to tweeze whatever they can’t get and then lotion you and apply their ingrown hair serum.
Their prices are very reasonable and they have packages that are discounted. I have a very low disposable income but I can not seem to give up coming here!

I went here because the first wax was free. The girl who did my eyebrows, I think her name was Jennifer, was really nice! My eyebrows looked the same as I when I usually get them done at sono nails and spa for 8 dollars except over here they charge 18! Also the girl who did my eyebrows got the wax stuck to the side of my hair and did not try to get it out, or even tell me it got stuck in there. It ended up ripping out a small clump of my hair but it wasn’t really noticeable so I am not too upset. It was only an accident. I liked how they tell you what they are doing, like the stuff they put on your eyebrows, and give you a time line as to how long it will be for your eyebrows to grow back in. I don’t think I will go back because for the price it wasn’t really all that special.

The place I used to get waxing done for years closed, so I decided to give this place a shot. I was able to get an appointment on short notice with Jessica. She did a great job on my waxing. Their process is a little different than I was used to but the results were great. No redness. Very happy. I will request her for future appointments.
Price wise this place is on par with a high end spa. But it’s not. It has the same feel as a tanning salon. Kind of impersonal and they’re big on packages. It’s not cozy, rather austere, but it’s clean and they did a good job, so 4 stars.

I’ve been going to European Wax Centers for a few years now, and I’ve literally been to them in three states (NJ, NY and CT) because I’ve moved around a lot. This one in Norwalk has the best service all around. The girls who work the front desk are so kind, not pretentious at all, and very easy to chat with while waiting for my appointment. Marlene is my waxer and she is just a doll! She does everything I ask and does it well. She is inviting and makes a not-​so-​pleasant experience fun with her bubbly personality. I would highly recommend this location for sure. I’ve been a regular for a year now. Two thumbs up!

Unbelievable service and extraordinary attention to detail. I felt like a princess the whole time! The girls were kind, upbeat and really knew what they were doing. The eyebrow wax was the best I’ve ever had and she even filled them in after the service so I could go out after.
Everyone noticed immediately. I’m not joking two people in starbucks complimented my eyebrows after. I’ve never had a better experience anywhere.
The only caution is the wax is sugar based so I broke out terribly around the site. It only lasted a few days but I have such sensitive skin I’ll most likely not return soon.

Definitely a fan of EWC! Just switched to Marlene who is sweet & very attentive! She takes her time while making sure you are happy with your service! Little more expensive compared to other places in the area but worth it with their wax selection & point system rewards towards your next visit!

Their procedure in the wax room. Some times they clean before wax sometimes they don’t — sometimes they tweeze — sometimes not. Some times they put a cream on for redness — sometimes they don’t. Maybe it’s just the Westport CT one. I might try another location

I highly recommend EWC! They have fantastic customer service… everyone is so friendly, even when I have to call at at last minute to move a reservation. I have been extremely pleased with the quality of services and have had waxing at high end salons that did not come close. Most high end salons don’t offer loyalty programs either! I bought a package that should last me about a year and saved lots of money in the process. After trying waxing at many different locations, I will only come to EWC now.
