This is a general dental practice, utilizing a range of digital technologies that make much of the impossible, possible. More on that @ smilenor​walk​.com. Cerec, Diagnodent, Invisalign. Most treatment provided in house, minimal referral to other doctors unless situation requires it. I am a true general practitioner, and do NOT view my job as simply a gate keeper who will bounce you endlessly from one colleague to another.

You will always see me, Dr. Mike Hodish, for cleanings, and treatment… no revolving door with different people every time.

Our hours allow people to come before, after, or during work, and at lunch time, as well. Cell phone contact is possible when office is closed, so call now!

History

Established in 1950.

My father was a dentist. He completed his training in the years immediately after WW II, and moved to Norwalk. He took over the practice of Dr. Davidson, at that time. I joined the practice in 1983. In 1986 we took on the practice of Dr. Richard Lief, who had died in an accident.

My father and I practiced together for 20 years. He retired in 2003.

Dr. Michael Hodish is a Norwalk native, and a product of the Norwalk Public Schools. He attended the University of Rochester (BA Psychology), and then, the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine (DMD). He did a residency in Conservative Dentistry at the London Hospital, London, England. Dr. Hodish is interested in photography, international travel, computing, aviation (he holds a commercial pilot certificate, and is working toward his flight instructor certificate), skiing, and cats. In dentistry, he is particularly interested in advanced technologies that use computers, clinically. He has travelled to numerous countries teaching about this, and is the moderator of an online international dental study group, on this topic.
