Established in 1984.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles Norwalk has been serving the Norwalk, Santa Fe Springs, La Mirada, Cerritos, Pico Rivera, Downey, Pico Rivera and Commerce business and residential communities for over 25 years. Our Catering and Events professionals work with local schools, colleges, church and social organizations to ensure memorable events and support the goals of each organization. The Sonoma Grill restaurant also hosts many local organizations from city, LA County and State departments to legal organizations and Rotary. Providing outstanding service with our Warm Welcome is the culture of our trained staff.

Markus Kohn is General Manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles Norwalk. His extensive Hilton background includes many years in hotel operations as well as being an Executive Chef for Hilton and private Country Clubs. His passion for food is the reason that the Sonoma Grill Restaurant is well known for providing outstanding food and beverage.

I like this hotel spot because they really go out of there way to please the customers and hotel guest alike and their beds are really comfortable i never had a bad experince at this location and the room service is pretty good as well and i also have recommended my family that came out town this location.

I won’t be staying here again. First, the hotel is not in the best area. In my short time here, I saw theft at the nearby Rite Aid, gang members flashing gang signs, and graffiti. There was even graffiti carved into the elevator walls. The room was ok, but there are no easily accessible power outlets, if that is important to you. I could only find one place to iron my clothes in the morning. Speaking of ironing clothes, the iron in my room was broken. I had to call the front desk to get a new one, and that took about 15 minutes. But the worst part, and the reason I am leaving is because the housekeeping staff seemed to start my room, but forgot to finish it halfway through. When I walked into the room at almost 6pm, pillows were thrown on the couch, a pillow case was thrown in the corner of the room, and there was long black hair in the sink. It made me wonder what was going on in my room. So, I checked out. Not impressed.

Stayed here for a week. loved every moment. Extremely clean rooms and lobby. Everything is modern and updated. Service is superb and the breakfast buffet is delicious, especially the omelet station! Will be returning!

BEWARE! NEVER AGAIN!!! Wish I could give them a 0 STAR. Last night I attended my company’s X-​MAS Party and they broke into my car and stole my children’s backpack and 3rd row seats from my TAHOE. Coincidently there were two other parties going on. Called to speak to security and I was told that they have NO surveillance cameras in their parking lot. We made a police report as soon as we found out and they told me that there has been a large number of thefts in the Double Tree parking lot. They suspect it’s an inside source telling the thieves about the parties, hotel guests checking in. Total car thefts last night were 3, keep in mind I was only there 2 hrs. If you plan on attending or checking into a room please be warned. These people are fast and obviously friends with an employee there. These people are sick! Who steals a child’s backpack with her schools books?

Wow let me tll you, I got all dressed up for my niece’s wedding and forgot to pack my tie. I shoped the web for somewhere close to buy one but my ride was waiting for me outside so I asked the young man at the front desk if he knew where I can get a tie in the area, I told him I forgot mine. just then he loosened up his black tie and gave it to me saying «take mine I’m getting off in 10 min» then he helped me put it on. What a blessing this young man was his name is JAMES
Now that was first class service.

I just walked in here for the first time and the lobby and entrance is very nice. I live locally and have been wanting to come check this hotel out and get some cookies. Went in to get the cookie tins as gifts as staff helping me was very nice. The guy who wrung me up gave me a fresh and hot cookie while I was waiting for my tins. The lady who brought out the tins also gave me 2 bags which were perfect since I was getting the cookies as gifts. Thank you!

As entrepreneurs Rick and I often burn the candle at both ends. It was great to have a much needed staycation
Staff was great and accommodating
Room was quiet and the bed was so comfy
We did not make it out, but if anyone is coming from out of town there are a lot of places near by to eat.
We just got food from the bar, yummy yummy, and the breakfast buffet was a good way to start the morning,
Though we did not take advantage of the pool area, it was well kept, we did use the gym. clean… private… and updated :)
If you are having an event, please call them, or if you just need a staycation like we did, you will not be disappointed.

2 stars is me being generous. They have a great staff, free cookies, easy check in but the rooms are pretty bad. The lobby looks really nice but once you get on the elevator which looks like the interior was falling apart, all hope is lost. My room had peeling paint, rust in the shower, dust near the sink. The water pressure was so strong, I went to wash my hands and water splashed everywhere. I don’t think I’ll recommend this hotel or stay there again.

i really didn’t want to leave a review, a few things we let slide at this hotel, but unfortunately i feel like other people should know. i have stayed at the double tree before, the one in anaheim, ca (i would highly recommend, any room especially the presidential suite) i was told that this hotel did not have a room with a kitchen in it, later found out they have one! this particular one is by far the worst one we have stayed in.
* no bellhop (supposedly they will get fired if they help you with your bags).
* the pool was filthy (cloudy).
* the elevators are torn up.
* no a/​c in the hallways.
* ice machines on the 5th, 8th, and 3rd floor is filthy.
now let’s get down to the rooms
for some reason the a/​c was not working too well in one of the rooms, the blankets were dirty, the dresser that the tv sits on was ripped at the bottom, they had dry-​wall pieces trashed behind the dresser. vents in the bathroom looked like they had not been cleaned in awhile and the dirt was dripping down from the moisture. irons are pieces of ****, takes forever to get a wrinkle out of a shirt.
one of the nights i was there, i came back into the room and found a baby roach crawling on the counter top by the microwave. The night before I woke up with a few bites on my legs, so I was beyond pissed! i went to let them know at the front desk, and they had nothing to say! this hotel is a joke, with the noise of the construction and the filthiness of the hotel, they might want to reconsider their high a** prices! we were so glad to check-​out of that hotel.
jaymes (i believe that was his name) is one of the nicest guys there, if you have to stay here, go talk to this guy. they did honor a special rate for some inconvenience, but in the end i would have rather paid full price if it meant better treatment, and better rooms! Not to mention they charge $ 9.99 a day for Internet unless you want to use the computers in the lobby (if you don’t mind people watching over you to see what your looking at! No privacy). OH AND WE HAD BLACK SLUDGE COMING FROM THE BATHROOM SINCE, SUPPOSEDLY IT CAME DOWN FROM ANOTHER ROOM.

Great staff but no a/​c in elevators or in hallways. Makes it a miserable experience to get to your room if its hot out.
Noisy old a/​c in room with mildew smell coming out of it.
Hilton is dishonest company. Would not let me use my Hilton honors points for room even when I called day before to confirm I could.
Not many hotels to choose from in this area that are decent. Maybe go closer to Disney?

We stayed on a saturday night and on sunday we found all kinds of BITES on our bodies, we went to the doctors and he said they were from BED BUGS. We are both extremely sanitary people and do not carry bugs in our home, and we have a brand new mattress. So obviously, it came from the hotel. We called the hotel to inform them and they said that we are wrong because they checked for bugs and couldnt find any! We told them to check again because this is unacceptable. The manager said he would give us a call back and NEVER did! We have contacted corporate about the issue and they contacted this manager from double tree. The manager LIED and told corporate that he called us several times and emailed us. We are throwing away our gold membership and staying with MARRIOTT from now on. Do not come here

Nice place. They did a good job covering up the remnants of an old hotel. Gym was clean and nice although the treadmill had an incredibly noisy belt. Breakfast was delicious. Bed was comfy. Housekeeping didn’t do a fabulous job, but it wasn’t terrible. It was a perfectly fine experience and better than I’d imagined for Norwalk.

Sorry guys… you lost a couple of stars on this trip.
Check in was sloppy. Didn’t have the upgrade that we asked for. Tried to give us a lower room then what we paid for. Got to the room and they had forgot to put a key in our packet so we had to drag all of our crap back down.
Then the room we got was very outdated and on the very loud, freeway side.
Not your best foot forward!

The short version — this place is a dump especially for the price. I’ve stayed in much nicer places for less, unfortunately they were in other cities.
However, the people working there are incredibly nice. The only reason I come back (when I have to which is typically once a month).
Last time there were people yelling all night long next door. They were finally evicted after numerous warnings. They credited me the night.
This time no hot water in the shower. (But I’ve lived in countries where the water would go out and you still had to shower at 5am for work) but I was lucky to get a room as this place fills up quickly.
I do hope they update the rooms and not just the video system which doesn’t seems to be any better than the last one

This hotel is a bit off the beaten path but worked for our purposes. The parking is minimal for the size of hotel it is. The room was okay — not nearly as well kept as other double trees I’ve been too. Room service very, very meh.

Great place to relax. Staff very professional, helpful, and friendly from the moment you walk into the hotel. Loved their fresh warm welcome cookies. Rooms are very nice and clean. Beds support comfortable. Will definitely be coming back.

My favorite thing about DoubleTree hotels is the hot cookie at check-​in! My first impression when I walked into my hotel room was that it was old and the décor was dated. I prefer modern hotels so I wasn’t a huge fan of this one.
The beds however were soft, comfortable and so easy to sleep in! I worked out in the gym twice during my stay and it was decent. There was plenty of parking and Wi-​Fi and two bottles of water were free with Hilton Gold membership, which is the lowest tier. There was also free HBO which is a rarity in most hotels. I most likely won’t be booking this hotel again but it ended up being better than I expected.

A very great experience for my wife and I. Had our wedding reception here and it was a night to remember. Joanne Demarco from sales and catering made our reception worth having there. She was very knowledgable and capable as a wedding coordinator.
The rest of the Double Tree staff is also very professional and courteous.
The food was amazing. High quality and very generous portions. The grand ballroom had a very spacious area for our 200 guests as well as a high ceiling for good acoustics for our sound system and DJ.
The room was also very nice. Had a junior suite and loved every part of it. Clean, spacious and quiet.
I would highly recommend having a wedding reception or gathering here at this hotel.

Most of my hotel stays when I’m out of town for work is at one of the Hilton establishments. I sure love the perks that come with being an «Hilton Honors». Free breakfast, free refreshments and snacks, their rooms are as consistent as it gets, most have room service, free wi-​fi, easy check in/​check out, price, and their staff is usually pretty good. Let me stress USUALLY. I had a very comfortable stay and looked forward to a nice cooked breakfast the following morning. I was greeted by two smiling lovely ladies and was brought to my seat. Breakfast here is buffet style, but you can request eggs, waffles, and omelets from the cook. I saw that they were very busy and I was in no big rush, so an egg white omelet from the cook was on my meal agenda. But guess what? No can do. I gave the cook my order and in a very discouraging tone she said «Ugh…there’s already 5 people ahead of you! You have to wait!» Wow! It’s not the words that she said that pissed me off, it’s the way she said it to me. Look Mrs. DoubleTree Omelet Maker, I know there’s a lot of orders that you still have to prepare. I know you’re stressed. I also know by your tone that you want me to get something that you don’t have to cook. Well, I did. Just not here. I gave up on my free breakfast and decided on somewhere else. What originally started out as another great stay at one of Hilton’s establishments only ended in complete disappointment.
But don’t let my review discourage you. If you’re not looking forward to a well cooked breakfast, then check out some of what this hotel has to offer;
–Comfortable hotel rooms. Only issue, fridge and microwave not in every room. Plenty of outlet to charge up your electronics.
