I used to like this Del Taco, but something has changed. They advertise 2 combo burritos(actually I think it’s any of the burritos) for $ 5, but I got charged $ 3.19 for each one. Then the medium iced tea is supposed to be $ 1(which is why it is on the $ 1 menu) and I got charged $ 1.99. All I can say is check your receipt, although when I asked about it the woman at the window acted like I was speaking French or something. I’m not going to sit and argue with such a person over a few dollars, but I don’t appreciate being ripped off. It’s disrespectful and irritating. There’s fast food on every corner… I’ll stick to the ones that charge me what they say they are going to charge me, and this place isn’t one of them.

I had never eaten at a Del Taco, but my son had been bugging me about going for months. Service would get a 2 – 3 star, food for my liking also a 2 – 3. Now I gave it a four star because my son who is 13LOVED it. He had 2 beef burritos and can’t wait to go back. I have the Macho Nachos and they were eatable. Being that my son loved it, we will be back.

I ate dinner at this Del Taco in Norwalk, CA on 10÷3÷2015. It was my 1st time there. I had 3 crispy tacos, 2 tostadas and a drink. My total bill was under $ 7.00(hard to beat their $ 1.00 value items). Plus, I took photos.

Wow! 24 hr drive thru(supposedly), but this is the 2nd time in 2 week that I’ve come through at night or in the morning and it’s been closed due to(a sign that reads; «short staff.». Why advertise 24⁄7 drive thru then???

Let me first start off by saying tonight was the LONGEST I’ve ever waited in a drive thru. Other than in-n-out, this was unacceptable! 20 mins or more I was in the car waiting. There was only 1 girl working the front cashier AND the drive thru. She was rude and it looked like her little brother was working with her? Some little kid was just standing around. Worst drive thru experience ever.

Really bad service. Understaffed and took us 20 mins to realize they were not going to take our order. The prioritize drive thru. Don’t waste your time.

They were super-busy after a Supercross race in Anaheim, but they moved everyone through efficiently. The carnitas burrito rocks for fast food Mexican!

We had breakfast here today. Our breakfast burrito combos were pretty good. Parking lot has one entrance, and you may find traffic tailgating you, intent on getting to the 605 freeway. Pretty clean place. Staff was competent, if not really friendly… no one smiled or went above and beyond… the lady working the counter acted like she had a headache.

Food is usually always cold, drive thru time is horrible and orders seem to always get messed up at this place. I only stop here because it’s right off the freeway before I get on. Management needs to crack down.

If I could’ve put no stars, I would’ve. Wait– can I? Oh well… it’s awful. Burnt cold fries. Like they couldn’t see that? The Mngr is the one who took my order and served me. Small dining room and some lil girl acting line she’s cleaning but every table is dirty. The real reason she was in the lobby was to pretend to clean so she could talk to the boy(also employee) sitting having his lunch. She’s wiping the table to my right. He’s on the table to my left. And they’re having a full blown convo about how terrible of a driver she is. The diet coke was good. Ice cubes cold. Dunno — guess that’s a plus. Layout of the inside is nice. Modern. Convenient location right off the fwy. And I dig how they stack the sauce in the baskets on each table. That’s a nice touch. But you still hafta get up and search for napkins. And you can BELIEVE they’re not good enough to give you napkins with your order. Oh well. Maybe this is really a «pay what you get for» type of place. Funny though — I’ve seen DT do way better at other locations.

This Del Taco is pretty new so it’s nice and clean inside. But it’s a hit or miss, sometimes the food is good sometimes is not so i guess depending on the amount of customers there and the mood of the workers? But you cannot go wrong with chicken soft! YUM!

I always come here for my evening taco cravings– given the sheer abundance of fast food places in Norwalk, this is one of the rotational hotspots I visit after I’ve had my helpings of the other places in the area. It’s dependable, their service is OK, and they get the food to you pretty fast. I like tacos. A lot. With sour cream, okay?! Don’t judge. With all that said, this Del Taco isn’t anything special. It’s not bad, though, so if you’re checking if this place is an individual problem-child, well, it isn’t.

Couldn’t get a simple order of 5 items right. We were missing a burrito and had chicken added to the spicy jack quesadilla. Not cool when you have the midnight munchies, lol.

6:00 a.m. and didn’t take a credit card for payment. The very least they could have done was place a sign at the start of the drive-thru that warned the customers that the machine was down, but no, I was only told of this once I pulled up to the window. Additionally, this location is notorious for screwing up orders and do not expect to be able to get a chocolate shake at 6:00 a.m. either because they clean the machine at that time in the morning. Never dropping by this piece of crap fast food place ever again.

Since we’d alrady Happy Meal’d up the midget, it was dandy to indulge on the Del Taco opportunity(the nearest one to home is an hour’s drive.) Nice folks, quick with the order, food arrived as my fussy self ordered it, and while the restrooms do require a key, they’re set out on the edge of the counter, so one doesn’t feel like they’re asking teacher for the hall pass.

Extra star for being right off the freeway ramp after a late night dancing! Chicken taco, jalapeño poppers have been replaced with the jalapeño potato balls, crinkle fries, and surprisingly soft chocolate chip cookies. A few mornings I’ve had their BreakFEAST combo with simple egg and salsa burrito, coffee’s not bad, and hashbrown sticks. So cheap and my stomach doesn’t get upset.
