This may not be a «mega» wine and liquor store but it has everything I need and more importantly a knowledgable and neighborly staff that you do not get in the large«Total» places. They will also order things when you know in advance you will need something. Have had many good recommendations on wine and beer and even cocktail recipes so saving a few cents across town really in not even in the equation. Glad to have this local gem.

These guys are great and they’ve made the store easy to find what you’re looking for. I asked them to help with a local event and without hesitation provided the sangria for a grand opening party! I love that they were supportive of another local business and I think we all should support theirs!

Great wine selection and extremely knowledgeable, helpful staff. The store itself is small but well organized. Fantastic mix of everything from international to local CT wines. Decent prices too! The last time I stopped in, I asked for recommendations and left with a spiced pumpkin wine from DiGrazia vineyards in Brookfield and a South African wine aged in coffee bean barrels(pretty sure it’s just called Bean. Nice $ 10 find). Both were wonderful. Oh also, the(staff’s?) most adorable pup was wandering around the store. BONUS!

Today I brought back to the store 10 boxes of 18 bear bottles each for recycling(same brand and original packages, many of them acquired there). I first asked them if they would take them before moving them myself from my car’s trunk to the back of the store as they said(they don’t have shopping carts). Once I finished with the task they rejected them and I had to took them back to my car again, again by myself. With their unfriendly comments and mocking faces of «these are the bottles of a football stadium» and«the bottles are not clean, the company will not accept them because they will need to be washed»… «Really? Then will you accept a box of pellegrino sparkling water?» I asked. They: «No because we actually get them next door»… All woman, the two of them, one younger than the other(approx in their 50s and 60s) and me(40s). I’m doing this for the planet, not for the deposit money. Actually I first asked them to make sure that they also recicle the cardboard of the boxes, otherwise I would not bring them here. This is the last time I’ve entered into this place. With the car full to the top with glass bottles I went to Whole Foods-Westport, put the boxes in a cart, went inside and said to the customer service clerk: «I bring here 169 glass bottles», they took them right away and with a smile they gave me the deposit money and that’s it. Get your own conclusion.
