this transmission place is awesome went there on 3÷18÷2016 with a 2013 Mazda cx9 to change my transfer case fluid and differential fluid. Steve and his crew did the work with no problem. Mazda dealers don’t want anything to do with changing transfer case fluid and tell their customers that the fluid is for lifetime. and that the Mazda cx9 comes with a sealed transfer case. that’s why a lot of these transfer cases are failing and usually after your warranty expires. Steve is awesome and his prices are fair

Amazing service! I received a ticket for my headlights being out and tried to repair them myself unsuccessfully. Steve and his team kindly repaired the lights and gave me the paperwork needed for the citation. Such a great experience, will definitely be back!

Just had my first experience with Steve and team here and I have to say I am impressed with their excellent customer service and willingness to help get to to the bottom of a problem. I even got a ride back to the office while the guys looked into my check engine light codes. I can definitely say that I will be a return customer the next time I need anything done with my Audi. Thanks!

I am so glad I went here for servicing. Steve is reliable and most honest owner. The service was fast and reasonably priced. Left there smiling and would recommend to anyone… and they do more than just transmissions. :) Also was very impressed with the time he quoted and called me exactly when he said it was going to be ready and didn’t pressure me into adding extra «up-​sells». Great place!

Seems to be going well so far and Steve seems open and honest. I’m looking for good value for the service. I’ll report back as the process continues.
It’s now 8÷7÷15 and after picking up the car last week, Steve mentioned that he’d like me to come back the following day just to check and make sure everything was in good shape since the car was being driven to Maine (300 miles) the following day and he wanted to prevent any surprises. All went well on the trip and the transmission performed as expected. Verdict: Good customer service and attention to detail. I can recommend. Also, a good practice with any garage is to put a ‘cap’ on the price of the work which Steve was willing to do. May have saved me some $$$.

Bottom line:
Take your car here if you want a mechanic that treats you like a human being and can fix your car for a reasonable price.
For the wordy types:
Seriously the best car repair shop around.
We have had some on going car repairs that have been incredibly expensive (aren’t they all?). It’s hard to know sometimes if a mechanic is trying to over sell you when you don’t know car stuff or speak that language. I have taken my car to a few places and got several quotes that were astronomical. One place was also incredibly demeaning to me as a customer.
After a trip to Aamco I got one that was actually more in my price range! For the same work! Not only was it more affordable, Clara (sorry I may be spelling that wrong!) and Steve never did any repair work without explaining every thing to me. And this is quite a feat as my kids are in the background making all the noise in the world. I really appreciated their patience and time. And they gave me a deal on an oil change & the repair work!
Take your car here if you want a mechanic that treats you like a human being and can fix your car for a reasonable price.

These guys really took care of me. I was on my way out of town and needed quick service. They performed very well at a fair price. Not only did they take care of me, but they treated m e like I was a part of their team. Invited me to partake in their lunch plans while I was waiting. Offered me cake that was brought in by another appreciative customer. Keep up the good work guys!!!

Always a great experience, reliable service and helpful staff. Steve and Clara are the best — they are always willing to help and know most of the clientele by name. They came highly recommended from several of my coworkers and have been my go-​to for the past four years for everything from oil changes to major work. They’ll help you make the best decision for your vehicle and budget and are always willing to go above and beyond to make the messy ordeal of car care way easier on you.

I am already impressed with this location and I haven’t even had service done on my vehicle yet! I will update once the service is complete Monday.
We recently had a horrible experience at Midas up the road from here. We left feeling like our car was unstable & unsafe to drive — before the appointment everything. Was fine. I am about to have our second child and we have a toddler. This is our only car. So we were concerned.
I called and explained the situation to Steve. After confirming that our family was safe he let us know to bring the car in today (Saturday — Feb 14^th) to see what was going on with the car.
Unfortunately we got there about 5 min after close. But the staff (Billy in particular) was amazing. I explained the situation and immediately he made sure the car was safe to drive for us. He didn’t make us feel like a problem. After close on a holiday?! I couldn’t believe how nice they were. They even gave my daughter a donut!
They confirmed it was safe enough to drive back to our apt but let us know to bring it in Monday and they can do a full inspection. I am incredibly grateful as it put my mind at ease.
Later we received a call from the owner Steve making sure that we were safe. This was such amazing customer service.
We will absolutely be bringing our car back Monday for the repair work.

Horrible experience with this place! I had my transmission rebuilt on my 2008 Ford Edge about 6mos ago, spent $ 4,200+, and since being «rebuilt», I’ve had to bring it back 5X for the SAME problems: Transmission continues to leak, knocking, and getting stuck in gears. Last night my husband and I were stuck in Yonkers at 1AM because the transmission wouldn’t shift out of first gear! We called AAMCO in Yonkers and they wanted to charge us $ 200 to get the car. AAMCO corporate of course has no customer service line to file complaints. STAY AWAY from this location and company!

I know nothing about cars and have always been intimidated going to auto repair shops. The service manager, Clara was incredibly helpful and patient. I was given regular updates and things were always explained well. Car was finished early! Will return for all service needs.
