Our family has been in the moving business for many generations. We started 1^st Class in 1994 to make a professional moving company as our name says it all.

During and after High School I started working full time as my families moving company was very busy with military moves. At that time there were very many bases open and local to this area. Including Pease Air Force Base (now Pease Tradeport), Navy Yard, Fort Devens in Mass., and Hanscom Air Force Base. I grew up learning the correct way to pack, load, and deliver as the military had strict rules and inspectors showed up on the job to make sure things were done correctly. I drove back and forth to Florida in the late eighties and early nineties without the benefit of cell phones and navigation units. Hard to believe now drivers can’t go on the road locally never mind long distance with out these items. This is the only business I have ever been involved with.
