I have been going to Jenny for years now. I have unmanageable curly hair and have been to different hair salons to get my hair straight and nobody has ever done it where I can just ‘wash and wear’. When I was recommended to Jenny, I was a little hesitant but gave it a try. After it was done, I was very happy. I was amazed that I was able to wash my hair and let it dry and it stayed straight. Her products are also great and doesn’t damage my hair. Jenny is very accommodating and willing to work with you with hours to get your hair done. She is a wonderful person.

I am absolutely loving my haircut. Jenny was extremely nice and funny and thorough as well. Loved how my hair turned out and was very professionally done. I’ve always been kind of paranoid with hairdressers and them getting my bangs right. Luckily, Jenny did mine perfectly. I hate it when it’s too short because it looks like a kid accidentally chopped it off, but too long makes me need to get a trim soon after.

I have been going to this salon for many years. I don’t know why it took me this long to finally write a review. Jenny is a sweet korean lady who is friendly and knows about hair. I usually go to her to get a haircut, hair-​color & highlights. I always get what I want. If you don’t know how to explain what you want, just show her some pictures. Show her the style or color you want, she will replica it. One down side, she works alone, no help or assistant so I recommend you better call her first before coming in. Of course walk-​in is accepted. In case if she is working on 1 – 2 people you might wait awhile. Overall, I give this place 5 stars for my own experiences ;) Oh btw, there is plenty of parking in this plaza. Cash is the preferable payment but if you are a regular client personal check is accepted… probably you should ask to make sure.

I recently moved to Northridge for school, and need a haircut, badly. I spent hours debating on which salon to try out in the area. I was looking for an affordable salon that could still give me the haircut and style that I wanted. I am SO HAPPY that I gave Woohoo Muhri Hair Salon a try! At first I was skeptical, as I always am when getting my hair cut, and especially since there were only a few reviews on the place, but I decided to give it a try after calling the salon. Jenny picked up, and she was so sweet and nice. She quoted me a price of $ 25 for the cut, and I jumped on it since I felt it was a reasonable price.
When I arrived, she greeted me with a smile, and was so friendly. I showed her a picture of my hairstyle before it grew out (mind you, I hadn’t cut my hair for 7 months). Usually hairstylists tell me I need to cut the damage off the ends by 3 – 4 inches even when I tell them I want to keep the length, or they tell me that what I desire wouldn’t look great. However, she explained to me in detail about split ends and damage, and offered only to cut about an inch from my hair. I was so happy! Finally a hairstylist that gets me! Then she even explained to me how she was going to cut and achieve the style that I wanted in my picture. She was so thorough and we had friendly conversation the entire time. In the end, my hair cut was EXACTLY what I wanted. The layers were beautifully done, and framed my face perfectly. She even stopped me right before I was going to leave, and made a small trim of a few pieces of hair that she felt were straggling… I really appreciated the attention to detail. I will definitely becoming back!

i passed by this hair salon couple time but finally gave it a try. As i went inside Jenny greeted me with a warm welcome. One of the things that i realized was that there were lots of plants and flowers lol (i guess she loves plants and they’re actually nice). Any who~ i grew my hair long on purpose to get some comb over hair style and Honestly, at first i was kind of nervous getting my hair cut from her because i didn’t know if she was going to cut it the way i want it or not, but i wanted to trust her. As a result~ she gave me the style that i wanted :) i am very satisfied with her service and performance! i will definitely come here again.

I have naturally curly hair, which i really hate so i go to Jenny to get a magic striaght. I dont have to blow dry or straighten my hair for 6 months. YAY!!! Jenny is very friendly and her prices are very reasonable. I love the way my hair feels after i get my hair done by her!!!

Jenny = the best HAIR STYLIST i know! She is very professional at coloring/​perm/​hair cuts and not to mention hair straightening! She permanently straightened my hair and I LOVE IT! NO ONE DOES IT LIKE JENNY! PRICE is right and she really cares for my HAIR!!! I love her !!! she is awesome :D I M GOING BACK TO COLOR MY HAIR THIS WEEK! It’s a known fact that she only uses professional hair products and it reallllllllllly shows~ !!
