Rock Collision Center

I think their new name is 5 Star Collision and they are on Reseda Bl in Reseda. I was referred to Rock by a friend who was satisfied. I called and spoke to Rock and he suggested I text photos of my car which had a smashed in hood, broken right light and the grill was damaged. I sent via text and called to make sure Rock got the photos. I texted, left messages on his main number and it rolled over to the after hours number, even though it was not after hours. My friend verified I had the right numbers for Rock. I tried to get in touch for over a week. I finally told my friend, if this is how Rock handles a perspective customer, I would not feel comfortable bringing my car in. I also double checked with my friend as to what the name of the shop was: Rock Collision Center or 5 Star. Both had the same main number. He said they had changed their name.
The front end damage was my fault and I was thinking of paying myself. But, I could my insurance pay. I had also been hit while my car was parked and that was the other persons fault and either my insurance company would pay and subragate or his insurance would pay. So, there were two jobs for Rock who did not bother to call me back despite numerous messages and texts.

I took my 2007 Honda Civic here and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Rocky, the owner, was great to me and made sure I got the best possible service and repairs for my budget.
The side of my car was crumpled up pretty good and the mirror was completely gone, but if you look at it now, you’d never know – and they only replaced the mirror! Everything else was repair/​repaint.
Not only that, but I got my car back washed, waxed, and detailed. It didn’t look this good when I bought it from as a Certified Preowned car from Honda two years ago!
These guys know how to fix cars.

Got my car repaired a little over a year ago but forgot to post a review. It looked great and they were all very friendly. Only reason im not giving 5 stars is that it took over two weeks to get repaired and i felt that was a long time considering there was minor damage. But regardless, the car looked almost brand new when they were done with it!

This company are ambulance chasers. There was an accident in front of an apt. bldg. on Kester ave. in Sherman Oaks. A girl approached with reddish brown hair with a handful of business cards & tried to take down our phone numbers. She then mentioned this collision center is associated with a personal injury law firm and they could be our attorneys. Solicitation in CA is ILLEGAL. I will be reporting this business to the CA State Bar.

I have been in two accidents since April of 2014, and with my luck I was pregnant during both collisions. I found this place and have been very happy with the results each time! I won’t take my car anywhere else now.
All the workers were very helpful, polite, and knowledgable. Rock Collison Center was able to put me in a rental car in no time, which was very convienient for a 8 month pregnant person!
The only downside you may have with Rock Collision Center is your car may get delayed a couple days due to their high compacity. But for the customer service that you recieve is well worth the wait, and you’re in a rental car anyways!
My car looks like brand new, they also gave me a complementary car wash. And that was the best my car has looked in years! I wish I could give Rock Collisions 6 stars!!! I reccomend them to everyone!

My car was in a car accident. First off Rock Collision Center’s tow truck driver told me it would be a FREE tow to their yard whether I had them repair the car or not, that was a lie as once at the shop I was told that there was a $ 100 tow fee if I chose not to repair my vehicle there. I ended up having them repair my car. I was called when my car was officially ready but when I showed up they told me the air conditioning wasn’t working. There was also still a cracked and broken piece on the driver side behind the rear view mirror broken that had not been repaired. There was also an industrial strength type glue that had been left by fingers all along the weather seal of the driver side window. They gave me a loaner car which lasted for I think 3 days before they called me wanting it back and gave me just 1 day to return it.
My mom and I both called the shop AND Rock directly on saturday ⁹⁄₆ with no answer or reply even though it says ²⁴⁄₇ hotline. Today, 3 days later, at the end of the day they called me to tell me they still do not know what the problem with the air conditioning is. Now there was a week delay by my insurance company alone in approving the new compressor but now 10 days after the approval still no car and on top of that it sounds like it was never the compressor in the first place so they might have even ordered the wrong part and the last 2.5 weeks is a bust. I told them to officially stop working on the car today as they could not figure it out and I am out of time. I called the owner Rock to let him know the situation that it was never resolved and this is how I was treated, he said he would look into it I said no thank you I am taking the car back I just wanted him to know and that I would be writing this Unilocal review and he said «that’s fine»… Rock calls me back and leaves me a voicemail telling me he doesn’t have to deal with me and to go pick up my car «by tomorrow». I called him back upset at the fact that he would DARE tell me by when I should pick up my car ESPECIALLY after all their delays and me going out of my way to return their loaner car within a day. Immediately he got defensive, started cursing at me, and then threatened me, asked me to come down to the shop to fight, and told me to go to the shop with all my «homies». He was talking shit so I talked shit back. I told him if he threatened me again I would call the police so he laughed and hung up.
The WORST part about all this is the fact according to his youtube video he created the business to help people from being ripped off like his ex was. Well his excuse to me for why my car isn’t ready, why they didn’t give us a call back, why why why… is because they «are busy». Maybe they should concentrate on taking care of the business they do have rather than bring in a bunch of business and not take care of it.
That is what sort of company this is. You are dealing with a hooligan with no business sense, no people skills, and no hope of running a good business.
Sure the guys, and the girls, at the shop are really nice. Dealing with Rock you are just going to get inferior quality and delayed work, and you just might get your life threatened :)

Rock Collision Center is the very best. Great work, communication is excellent and they work with all types of vehicles, from exotic, luxury, mid size to your Jetta’s and Chevy’s.
You wont a finer group of employees, they work with all insurance companies, they do NOT cut corners but rather work with both you and your insurance to make certain you are satisfied.
If you want it done right, there’s only one place to bring your car Rock Collision Center in Northridge, ask for Tony or Rock.

Update once again on my Bmw. I get compliments from everyone onn how great my car looks. I also wanted to report that I recently realized that not only did they do a fantastic job but they cleaned my engine while repairing my car. UNBELIEVABLE! Thank you once again Rock Collision Center. This past April I was involved in a car accident, I called Rock Collusion. I was referred to Rock by one of my good friends. Let’s just say it was the best phone call I could’ve made. I didn’t have to worry about getting my car towed to the shop he took care of everything, unfortunately my car was totaled. My next concern was how in the HECK was I was going to get another car. Well after my settlement from my car accident, Rock agreed to help get me into a new car. Within a few weeks I was in my new car, with NO CAR NOTE. Sounds unbelievably huh, I know right. Rock has such an awesome spirit and compassion to help others, I was truly blessed! What stood out most was his authenticity; Rock was honest and genuine with me from the beginning of the process to the end. (This trait is rare these days in the automotive business.) Overall the customer service was exceptional, and I will definitely return in the future.

It doesn’t get better than Rock. When I first met him he said, «Bring it to me, I’ll take care of it. I’ll tell you what it needs, what it costs me, and what I’ll make. Nobody does better work and you won’t find a better price. I want your business for the long term.» He earned my trust. He’s come through again and again. A BMW, a Jeep, Mercedes, and a Cayenne. All the work was sensational and the service was personal, positive, and quick. Rocky has built an amazing business and I won’t go anywhere else.

I had some work done on my car (dents removed and paintiing) at Rock Collision Center. The service I encountered was excellent. Everyone went out of their way to make sure all the work my car required was done. I definitely reccommend to anyone who needs body shop.

Finally, a body shop that is honest, friendly, does solid work, and charges reasonable prices. Rocky is the best, I always trust him with my cars!

I took my car to Rocky of Rock Collision after being referred to him by friends. I am so glad I took their advice. Not only did he do a fantastic job with the repairs in a timely fashion. Rock notice a few unrelated dings and my clear coat that was fatigued. Rock corrected these at NO CHARGE to me.
My Car looks better that when I bought it! It’s refreshing to deal with someone who is so genuinely nice, positive and ethical. Tammy was great, always right on top of the status of repairs. If I need body work in the future there is only once place I am going.

Rock did a great job with my car. The work was done well and in a timely manner. Customer service/​communication was excellent. I would definitely go back.

My mother (driving for 77 years… so far) did massive damage to the passenger side of her 2006 Infiniti. Rock did an AMAZING job of restoring it to look like a new vehicle! Tammy answers the phone and despite the fact that they are always busy (they are open 7 days a week) she is always patient and always friendly. The car took two weeks to repair (as they estimated) and provided a car to drive at a «rock-​bottom» price. I hope not to need repair service again but I will not even call anyone else. These folks are professional in every sense of the word!
