ProfessioNail Salon and Day Spa

This is what my nail currently looks like… do not go in there. It’s been 2 months, i have a hole on my nail and waiting patiently for it to fall off. I hope a clean and normal nail grows back. It’s embarrassing using sandals but it suggest you wear open toes shoes so fungus doesn’t grow. I’m just warning you so you don’t end up getting an infection like i did, It was painful.

I took my daughter here for prepping her up for home coming high school dance and she was happy with the overall experience. For a relaxing nail salon experience this place is ok. The salon is very clean, bright and they’re affordable.
My daughter was very pleased with their services and her nails looked great when they were all done.

this was thee worst nail experience i’ve ever had. Needed a fill and a pedicure. They were both totally awful and it put me out $ 54!
be warned! this place sucks, and they nickel and dime you.

I simply wanted to get white tip acrylics done and the guy that did it for me was horrible. There was glue all over my fingers and he even cut me while he was buffing my nail. I was literally bleeding and he acted as if it didn’t happen. He was very rude and unfriendly. I definitely suggest going somewhere else.

I admit it: I’ve made some terrible life choices this week. Beer before liquor. Staying out past midnight when I had a 7am meeting. Checking my work email on my iPhone after leaving the office. Little did I know what would await me when I decided — on a whim — to stop by this nail salon at the Northridge Mall.
Although the employees here were nice, I received a HORRIBLE mani-​pedi here. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy.
My nails were not fully filed before they were painted. To make matters worse, there are no UV dryers here. After the stylist finished painting, she just walked away. The nail stylists did not stop in the middle of my mani and ask me to pay (I thought all salons did this?), and I risked ruining my manicure when I fished in my purse for my wallet. And don’t get me started on the insects in the salon.
I’m usually lenient when it comes to nail salons, but this is the worst one I’ve ever been to. Two words: stay away.
Far away.

Mom and I have been trying different places for mani’s and pedi’s. Mom goes specifically for callus removal. She wasn’t happy with the other place in the mall so we thought we’d try this one. She wasn’t particularly happy either. While the man got a lot of callus off, he did it with an electric tool and ended up hurting her a few times (overheating of the tool maybe). When he painted her toenails he didn’t use a base coat. ($ 16 for pedi, $ 5 for callus)
I had a lady give me a manicure ($ 12) and while it was decent, the two coats of nail polish isn’t enough — there shouldn’t been a third. I also had my toe nails painted ($ 5), and that was fine.
Next time we’ll go elsewhere.

Let me just say this is the WORST nail experience i have ever had. The only reason i came here today is because ive been here a few months back as a walk in to get my eyebrows waxed. That experience was fine. My regular nail place that i go to (The Nail Forum in Porter Ranch) was completely booked so i came to the northridge mall instead. This place is disgusting. Half of the spa chairs are «out of order». they decided to seat me in one of those out of order chairs and as soon as they turn on the water, it comes spilling out everywhere from the bottom of the chair. Then they must have realized i shouldn’t sit there so they asked me to move to a different one. When they turned on the water, there was long black hairs swirling around in it. I was so disgusted. Everything felt so dirty. The guy that did my pedicure said absolutely nothing to me the entire time except for (20 mins later) «flower??» The employees were sitting around in the spa chairs eating their lunches. I felt so uncomfortable and not to mention the entire pedicure felt so rushed. If you want a mani/​pedi, i HIGHLY suggest you go somewhere else.

this place doesn’t even deserve the 1 star rating it got, but I couldn’t give anything lower unfortunately. I walked in and the lady said with attitude can I help you I said yeah I wanted to get a full set do you know if pink and whites are better? or if acrylics are better? and she said «yea yea full set right go there» I went to sit down and the guy that took me said it would be better if I got the pink and whites because they look nicer and last longer and they would be «so ni fo chrima» so I took his advice right of the bat I knew I made a big mistake because I told him that the nail on my index was crooked and he said «ya ya i fix no worry» I said ok ok and the I asked why there was gliter all over my nail and he said «it fine i fix you’ll see» so I waited till he finished and he said «you see I told you I fix everyting alrigh» «I know my job» and I said yeah but this nail is still crooked! and he said «le me see» I let him see and guess what he just buffed it and done he said «you pay now» and I said I’ll pay with my credit card and he said «what about my tip?» I told him I’ll pay your tip cash and he snatched my card and said uhuhm (like yeah right) So all in all it was one of the worst experiences i’ve had at a nail salon other than beautiful nail in sylmar and not to mention they were rude to my sister who was waiting for me in the waiting area. the lady asked her as soon I walked in if she was gonna get her nails done too and she said no and the when my sister was waiting for me she asked her again and said «ok magazine only for customer… maybe you wait outside» can you believe it and I have pictures of the nails that look horrible!!!
