Understaffed to say the least. I don’t want to be one to give a bad review because I love their merchandise. But the store was a mess, they were jumping from one customer to another and sent a girl on her first day in training to follow me around the floor because they were too disoriented to train her.
Did not have what I needed and couldn’t assist me in trying to find what I wanted. I’m 9 months pregnant there’s only so much lifting and searching I can do!

I’ve always liked Pier 1 Imports and this one was no exception. The place to be when you want to decorate with a little character. They have some beautiful home décor accents and I always come in usually just to look around and see what might surprise me. The staff here has generally been pretty friendly.

I’m not sure if we caught just-​the-​right people at just-​the-​right time, but we had the most attentive, helpful staff ever in the Northridge store. They were right there and knowledgeable when we turned for help on the menagerie of items we were looking at. They even volunteered when the current sale would end and when the next sale was expected, what the percentage would be, and which of our items would be included.

Love coming here. It’s a nice organized clean store with friendly employees. Great on parking & I always can find whatever I need and if I can’t there’s always help. Always come here to buy diffuser’s for the mother. The location can deem just leaving and entering the parking lot a battle.

Northridge, CA
This is one of the smaller Pier 1s but it’s still a nice walk-​through for checking out the new stuff and I always get greeted with a smile from the staff. Because they are smaller, the inventory isn’t as plentiful as the one in Encino or Studio City. However, the staff always found time to assist me and will gladly contact the other branches for what I’m looking for.
P. S. The ginger peach stuff rocks!

Nice home décor and fragrances to choose from. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of items that they sell. The products that they carry are for display in your home. Most of the stuff that they sell are classy and different. You won’t find their stuff at a Target. The customer service here is good. They greet you with a friendly smile.

I would have to agree with David (first to review). I have been to this particular location twice and both times have gotten so-​so service. The last time being the worst. I purchased an accent table and wanted another one of the same style and color. They didn’t have another one and I requested them to ask at another store if they have it. They sent me to Woodland Hills to pick it up only to find out it’s the wrong color. That’s simple stuff, I have no clue why they can’t do such a simple request from a customer. Frustrating.

I’m a mellow guy. It takes a lot to make me mad. I would say that it happens maybe once every other year. But I recently walked out of the Northridge Pier 1 Imports completely pissed off, having endured the worst «customer service» experience in recent memory.
Do yourself a favor, and avoid this store at all costs.
