Our childcare center is located in the San Fernando Valley and provides programs for Toddlers, Preschoolers and Kindergarten as well as fun and educational extra-curricular activities.

Petite School House is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where we encourage your child’s development through learn and play. Our curriculum is a fine blend of Reggio Emilia and Project Approach Method of early childhood education. Our daycare center provides the highest quality childcare services where we instill in young minds the importance of moral values, character formation and respect for others. Throughout the program the children will have integrated areas of learning such as early math concepts and numeracy, literacy, arts, drama, sciences and physical activities. Our staff and the organization, both of which are equipped with materials and teaching tools imperative to the curriculum planning, will support intellectual advancement. Our principal goal is to promote the learning and development of each child. Music, Spanish and French classes are included in our tuition.

Our center is committed to providing home cooked healthy meals and nutritious snacks.

Our fully equipped child friendly playgrounds are separated by age group for added safety.

Horrible school, they have no adequate training in dealing with children with behavioral problems. Not that a two year old is any different from other two year olds who can’t comprehend. I highly recommend that unless your child is perfect, don’t send them here. They have no idea what their doing, the highest education is a few ECE units. They didn’t even know what ABA training was. They don’t accept autistic children because to quote them «we’re not equipped to deal with children with behavioral issues.» So they’ll discriminate and either kick your child out or completely turn you away. Their just a piece of property set up to take your money. If you really want your child in a structured setting, with people who are EQUIPPED to deal with them, DON’T SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. AND THE DIRECTOR IS VERY RACIST AND RUDE.

My son (2 and 8 months) loves this school and we were really lucky to have him started in Miss Kristen’s class, she is a wonderful teacher and person my whole family loves her and she helped my son to liked going to school and he loves this place so much that did not care switching to another classroom with a different teacher, he loves the new teachers Miss Tracy and Miss Patty too. We also enjoy the extra curricular activities, bubble show, chu chu train, firefighter truck, etc etc. all the staff are very friendly and the place is always been kept clean and safe for the kids. Great job Petite school House.

First I absolutely love the environment of the school. My daughter was very behind and since her attendance here she has progressed so much. I must say though my favorite about the school is the French class they offer as part of tuition. My daughter loves the extra curricular. Definitely recommending to friends.

I don’t know where to begin with how wonderful this school has been to my family. It was a bit of a transition for my child to start attending a school environment and they did everything needed to make my family feel comfortable. They take time to listen to your needs and will walk you through every step of the process. The teachers are absolutely wonderful: Ms. Tracy, Ms Lucy, Ms Tati, Ms Karen, Ms Kristen (I hope I am not forgetting anyone) all of them are so great with my child. They are patient and uplifting and always greet my child with a smile. Additionally the support from the office staff is just as great. Ms Maritza & Ms Salmeena are key in keeping everything aligned perfecting with the school, as well as supporting the needs and help in the classrooms. Everyday before my child leaves, we always stop at the office to «give Ms Maritza and Salmeena a hug» as requested :-) My child has learned so much academically that I am confident that as we enter into the first grade we will qualify for the magnet program.
Thank you Petite School House, and a special thank you to the owners! They do everything in their power to keep a school filled with top academics, great teachers, and an environment filled with love and respect.

My nephew has been going to this school for a year now and loves it. He’s learned so much from his ABCs to 1,2,3s. I’ve definitely noticed his development. This school is awesome and affordable. Their tuition covers food, Spanish class and French class. Also, their staff is amazing! They definitely care about the children and want each of their kids to excel. Staff is super friendly! I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a school for their child or family member.

My son has been attending this school for about a year now, he was two ½ when he started and is not 3 ½. He has developed and thrived so much since he started here. He is now fully potty trained, and the school was a big part in helping with that. He learns so much here and the staff and teachers are all so loving and caring. My son just adores Ms. Lucy. I don’t have to worry about packing him a healthy lunch because the school provides healthy meals that are cooked on site. They always have all sorts of activities going on to keep the kids entertained. The playground is seperated into different sections with age-friendly play equipment, which I think is amazing. They also have a misting system in place on the playground for those hot days. In the summer they have a pool that the kids get to enjoy. I can’t express how happy I am with this school.

We bought this school last year and have spent every moment transforming it to the school I envisioned for our children to attend. We renovated all the classes to meet the «Reggio Emilia Philosophy» replacing all furniture, adding materials, adding teachers and most importantly implementing a stimulating curriculum that has been tried, tested and true. We have a variety of programs that we include in our tuition such as weekly French classes, Music Classes and Cooking Classes just to name a few.
