Metro Food & Halal Meats

This was my first visit to this place, found it on Unilocal and thought it might be a good place to buy some halal meat. I bought frozen mutton and was really dissappointed to see there was lots of hair in it. They really need to check their meat before selling it. And I for sure I am not going back to this store to get anything.

Very nice and clean halal butcher. Customer service is great. They also have halal turkeys available for thanksgiving.

A very nice place for getting halal meat. I stumbled upon this little shop when I was looking up a halal meat shop in the iOS Maps (this one was the only one showed up at the time.) I used to buy halal meat at Valley Produce and later on was grossed out after I was told by a member of staff that they share slicers for both halal meat and non-​halal meat including pork despite the fact that they have a dedicated slicer for kosher meat. On the day, I got some lamb and ordered a piece of lamb liver and 4 lamb kidneys (specials like these are offered at your request.) The owner is a very nice, friendly person from Afghanistan. They have all kinds of meats besides what I mentioned above like whole chicken and beef. The prices are OK. They also offer some dishes and kebab.
