Rowena is a professional makeup artist residing in the Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley area. Her fascination with makeup started as a little girl when she would put on her mother’s red lipstick. Being a dancer for nearly 15 years, her interest in makeup grew as she was always surrounded by «performance makeup». She fell in love with colors, the idea of changing or enhancing features, and being able to make people feel good about themselves, thus starting her career as a freelance makeup artist.

When I have the chance, I trust Rowena with my make-up. I had the privilege of having Rowena do my make-up for a couple of shows. She really knows how to contour and make my boxy big head to appear smaller and more round. She has a good eye in knowing what colors would look good on your skin tone and is great with making your eyes stand out. Seriously, she’s a great make-up artist and has such a wonderful personality. I’m socially awkward and she made the experience not awkward at all. I definitely recommend her. I’m sure you’ll fall in love with her personality, professionalism, and artistry on first contact too :)

OH MY GOODNESS. Rowena is absolutely the best. She knows how to make an average girl look GOOOOOD. She can do dramatic make-up to subtle «no make-up» make-up. She is not only always on time, super professional, and well-organized, but also friendly (and hilarious) at the same time! No matter what look you’re going for, she’s got it covered. I’ve seen her in the zone and she knows what would look best on any face, regardless of color, shape, and size! :) I love her work when she’s doing the dramatic look, because she’s got that down. Rowena likes for you to get to know your face, too, so she recommends a lot of products for healthy and beautiful skin! She’s the first person I would recommend for anyone who needs stage makeup, or for weddings, proms, photoshoots, etc.
