I’m always in a rush, so this place gets my son his glasses fast. I have no complaints, special shout out to Crystal she was phenomenal helping and training my kid to use his contact lenses for first time, she was patient and really funny with him, as a mom you really appreciate people being kind to your kids.

Take your business somewhere else. This location is awful… over priced and
not willing to do the right thing to take care of loyal customers. What ever happened
to customer service and working with customers. It’s all about getting more money
from people… terrible terrible… shame on you!!!

Been coming here since 2007. Rather shocking now that I think about why I have been loyal to a store with shitty customer service.
Reviews speak volumes, and this stores lack of customer service seems to be a common theme in each one.
Between being understaffed and rude phone calls rejecting third party contact providers. I will never spend another cent at a Lens Crafters anywhere.

Amazing experience!
I walked in and Sandie was exceptional!!! She helped me so much and was hilarious. She made me feel so comfortable and made the experience amazing! She had so much patience and was able to answer all my questions. The Doctor was great she guided me through everything and explained all that was going on with my eyes. I would definitely come back, especially with Sandie there :)

AVOID this place «Mariah» Maraya” what ever her name is is the rudest AND un professional person I have ever met. I called because my daughter lost her glasses and i was trying to find out how much i had to pay for a new pair since we didn’t have insurance only warranty bought less than two months ago. First she gave me a total of $ 204.95 for new frame and lenses telling me that there was 50% applied because my daintier was 5 years old than my husband told me he paid less than that when he got them with len

Horrible customer service! They gave me someone else’s prescription of contacts and when I called to tell them there was something wrong they told me to continue wearing them because my eyes probably needed to adjust to them. I’m glad I didn’t listen since they weren’t mine! Made an appointment and went back in they pulled my file and they said the doctor ordered me a different prescription. So when I went to charge out that’s when she discovered I had someone else’s prescription! And she had no clue who’s they were. You think with a huge mistake like this they would apologize or give a discount, Nope, Nothing. I will never go to another lensecrafters again!

Extremely slow service. Staff is very friendly but they only have one doctor and even if you make an appointment it will take an hour or more to see the doctor. I made an appointment came in early and the doctor skipped over me and assisted a young girl with her parents who I know arrived later than me. Waste of time and my hard earned money.

Had to get a new screw for glasses and Crystal was very kind and helpful as well as being very patient in explaining different options.
It’s her level of service that makes me come back here again and again.

I lost the last of my contacts suddenly and needed to get my eyes checked since my glasses weren’t the right prescription. At about 5:30 pm I called them asking if they had any appointments today. Every single store in the area had told me I had to wait until the following day but this store squeezed me in as the last appointment at 6:20. I rushed over there and they got me in right away. I forget the name of the girl that was helping me but she was super friendly and helpful. I was able to see the doctor and get my new glasses that evening with no struggle. I had new lenses put in my frames and it only took about an hour. The girl helping me asked if I had a AAA card to get a discount, so I tried calling my dad to see if he could find it. He was unable to find the card, however they still gave me the discount, which I thought was extremely nice. I will definitely be coming back here for all of my glasses/​contact needs.

Beware! It’s a massive rip off! I was quoted $ 360 (without tax!) to replace my lenses with a new prescription & it wouldn’t be ready for 10 days! (They said no lens crafters store carries my prescription) I left & went to an optic place a few blocks away and paid $ 150 (tax included) for the same lenses. They said since my prescription was very common, they would have it for me in the morning (I went in 20 min before closing) such a big difference between price, time and customer service that I was shocked! Don’t get suckered!

First she gave me a total of $ 204.95 for new frame and lenses telling me that there was 50% applied because my daughter was 5 years old than my husband told me he paid less than that when he got them since the beginning so I called back and ask her again because I told her my husband had paid less than that, she went ahead and check my last receipt and came out telling me $ 147.00 plus $ 35 new warranty for the new pair… without telling me «OH IM SORRY I MADE A MISTAKE READING THE TOTAL WRONG» I told her her tone of voice was not the correct when a customer call and has lots of questions they should get a customer service training so they could help customer like me having questions for a new pair of glasses specially when is for a 5 year old kid at the same time i had my husband on speaker so he could hear how rude she was plus my husband asking questions she wanted to hang up on us because she said she had customer to help «HELLOOO I CALLED TOO AND IM A CUSTOMER AS WELL» and we paid full price not with insurance!!!

They will make you wait for a long time, will hassle you for a receipt even if they can find your information in the system. They absolutely wont completely waste your time… NOT!
Go to the other one that’s outside the mall cause they know Customer service better! This location is short staffed all the time and to think they are inside the mall!!! They should know better

I bought my glasses from lens crafters at this location at northridge mall for the first time a year ago. I come back every two weeks or so to get them adjusted. I have high index lens and they’re sensitive to heat and they never pop the lenses out before they do it. One day an associate adjusted my glasses and I put them on for fit but I couldn’t open my eyes because I was wearing my contacts. I put them safely back in my case and went on with my day. The first time I took them out to wear them, their were a bunch of scratches. I spoke to the general manager about it and she was such a rude person and wouldn’t do anything about it and she said I would have to pay $ 100 for my warranty and that was my only choice! She was not helpful at all! And she’s a horrible manager! I went to lens crafters on Tampa, spoke to their general manager and explained the problem and she was very sweet and nice enough to order me new lens free of charge! Don’t ever go to the lens crafters at the northridge mall. If you ever get those weird lines on your glasses, they’re called craze. Only the workers at the Tampa location know what it’s called.

What I love most about Lenscrafters are their sales, the fact that you can make appointments online, and you can get your glasses in a hour/​same day. I love to never have to buy retail prices. Glasses are expensive. Especially when you need prescription sunglasses too. Luckily my vision benefits are really good so I’m not spending an arm and a leg on my eye exams/​glasses.
I made my appointment online like usual. I like that they save your last purchases and eye prescription on your online account too. Just in case you want to buy glasses elsewhere with your prescription, you have the freedom to.
The doctors and staff are always different every time I go except for this one young lady that has helped me the past two years. By young, she’s probably my age, so yes she’s super young. She’s been knowledgeable, honest, and helpful. She never rushed me or made me feel like I was just another sale. She was very nice. I think she was Maria. I think. The other people were Eh. So I understand the bad reviews.
Just a note, I’ve made my appts first thing Sunday mornings at 11am. Just an FYI. I’ve been there later in the evening to get my glasses adjusted because they were a little loose and the staff there that night were ok. One lady didn’t even acknowledge my existence, which is always a nice feeling, but luckily a younger girl helped me when she was done helping a customer. She didn’t know how to adjust my glasses so she asked the pro in the backroom to do it and he did a wonderful job.

Wow the service I revived today was beyond what I expected! Warm welcoming and was attended as soon as I came in. Mind this place was packed and still got the best one on one service! The staff was full of energy asking me the correct questions and assisting me on every step. I didn’t feel like a doctors appointment, if I was a 2 year old I would not be scared at all! The Dr. was so nice and made me feel like a guest in her home. The selection of eye is great! Didn’t take me long to find a pair of glasses that fir my frame and the pricing is amazing! Didn’t spend over $ 100 (with insurance) on Burberry glasses and they do not pressure you to pick and choose fast! What amazed me was all the patients they had, always by your side, and on top was the service! Best customer service I have ever had! The best part of all is that my glasses are ready in 1 hour! Kaiser cannot compare to that! Good job guys! To the other reviews, stop being negative Nancy’s! :)

Rude and unprofessional staff. Dr. Gezukarayan got an attitude problem too. DO NOT GO THERE. AVOID THAT STORE FOR ALL COSTS.

There was one girl, unfortunately I did not get her name. she is an Indian girl that was rude, unprofessional and condescending. She asked everyone very rude questions. She hung up on 2 people while I was there. management please get rid of her. She is driving away your customers. Including me.
Stay away from this place, unless you like rude people. Ask for Maria if you must go here.

Pretty much everyone in this store is rude or has an attitude — have had to go there for years — AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU CAN.

I will never buy from LensCrafters ESPECIALLY from this store. I’ve never been so quickly dismissed in my life for asking a simple question. I have a crack in my lens which causes migraines, and needed to see my prescription. They refused to give me a printout. Ok, understandable. They then read it off to me, each time the in store manager would read it so I could write it down, the numbers were different for cone and sphere. When I asked for clarification, they then began counting money from the register, rolled their eyes, sighed heavily and glanced at the computer to QUICKLY read off numbers in different orders. When I told them my predicament, they looked away, huffed and only replied, «uh-​huh,» while counting money again. It was patronizing, rude and unprofessional. above all, i have one word for this attitude: UNACCEPTABLE.
