History

Established in 1967.

Established as Harry’s Automotive in 1967, High Octane Automotive is no stranger to Northridge, Ca. Harry’s was sold to long time employee (eventual partner, Charles Thomas) in 2006.

Charles has been in the automotive business since 1983 and has over 30 years experience. He is a certified ASE Mastertech and ceritfied in Advanced Diagnostics. We are a general automotive repair and service facilty, performing everything from oil changes to brakes, timing belts, tune ups. diagnostics, water pumps and much much more.

Charles started at Harry’s Automotive in 1983 while attending Granada Hills High School in the San Fernando Valley. He worked part time after school and during summer break to learn more about his passion of automobiles. Longtime mopar enthusist and early member of Chrysler Performance West he went on to graduate California State University Northridge with a BA in Business Economics. Upon Graduation he continued at Harry’s eventually being promoted to Head Technician… Manger… Partner and finally Owner. Charles continues to be a strong pressence at High Octane overseeing daily operations and making sure you receive quality service with attention to detail.
