Small place but best food ever I couldn’t even finish my food, taste amazing, I ordered fish he brought me huge plate of fish and rice I can’t say anything about rice taste was amazing

While visiting a friend from the Valley, she took me to this place for us to have lunch. The place looked nice and clean with the worker warmly welcoming us when we came in. I was not familiar with Middle Eastern food but I am glad this was the first place I tried it! I ordered a chicken kabob with rice and tzatziki sauce and I absolutely loved it! For its price, I think the chicken kabob was very reasonable and well worth it. Hopefully the Middle Eastern restaurants I find in my area is as good as this place but I also will be coming back here when I’m around the area!

I don’t like leaving negative feedback especially when the person is from your community. However I’m sorry this guy is like a full blown moody racist I have no idea what’s his problem, he’s in a bad mood every second of the day no matter how nice you are to him. His food taste good which is why he is not fully out of business yet. His wife is a normal nice human being. But this dude literally needs to hire a manager to run his restaurant so you don’t have to see his face. I like to food so every time I was in the area I would take the food Togo, however he just gives such negative energy that you feel like your don’t even want to eat the food, you just want to throw it at him. This is not backbiting, cause he can see this and defend himself.
But I seriously don’t want to go here anymore — sorry.
Hire a manager dude cause you make afghans look like jerks — the old owner was nice.

My friends and I were craving some middle eastern food so since while we were in the San Fernando Valley. This when we found Halal Gyro & Pizza House nearby the area we were at. I would say that our overall experience there was a fantastic one. My order included the chicken kabob with some pita and tzatziki sauce and it was delicious. With my order being amazing, I just had to try what my friends ordered! In addition to my order I got to taste the kabsa (a rice dish), the shwarma, and the pita wrap. All of them did not disappoint!
I craving the food just as I am typing this review! There is so much food I want to taste ranging from the gyro plate, to the other kabobs! It is safe to say that Halal Gyro & Pizza House has the best middle eastern food in the valley!

Excellent Service and amazing food! Best Middle Eastern food in the valley. Nowhere else can you get kabobs, gyros, pitas, and shwarma with so much flavor. Prices are reasonable, and you get a heaping amount of food for your money.
I wish I would have found this place sooner because their food is absolutely the best. Go try the signature gyro plate and you will be hooked. Every time I go I try something new and I have yet to try something that I didn’t like.
The staff is super friendly and the food is great, what else would you want? Five stars!

I love gyros to no end and I usually have to drag my friends to a place that serves middle eastern food, or to a place that serves gyros. I have had all types of gyros, a lot of places have their own spin on them, some better than others. Halal Gyro and Pizza house are one of those places that have their gyro plate prepared the way I like it. Luckily I don’t have to drag my friends to Halal Gyro and Pizza House because their menu is so diverse. It’s a bit strange, but they serve authentic gyros, kabob and rice plates, but are still able to server delicious fish, burgers salads and pizza. I would recommend their other food options as well. The shwarma pita plate is wonderful too. Also, do not miss out on their tzatziki sauce. If your plate doesn’t come with it, get a side of it. It’s worth it especially if you ordered a gyro or something meaty. The prices are very fair for a place like this. They are an up scaled fast food restaurant that won’t take up a chunk of your afternoon or evening. If you are ever passing through on this part of the San Fernando Valley, stop in and try them out.

I just have to say that EVERY TIME. I been here it always a yummy and happy experience =). The city gave them an «A» because they have the most cleanest, freshest and yummiest HALAL food in town. NO WONDER WHY THEY HAVE SO MANY HATERS!!! There’s been times where I would call right at closing and the nice man always takes my order regardless of the fact. The food is really authentic and made from scratch not frozen or stale like other places I been too. They really take pride and care for their customers. I feel bad that other NEGATIVE PEOPLE with hidden agenda’s come online and try to scare away or make false accusations just to increase their own business! Lets be honest this place is AMAZING!!! ****

If you’re looking for decadent Middle Eastern food, this is the place to be. Every single item I’ve tried has been delicious; from their mouthwatering chicken kabob to their perfectly folded pita wrap.
I’ve been to multiple Middle Eastern restaurants, but let me tell you, this might just be the best Middle Eastern food in the valley. When I think of classic Middle Eastern food, I think of shwarma and gyro. And this place has one of the best gyro plates ever. It comes with a creamy and savory tzatziki sauce that you can dip your gyro into, the perfect combination.
Another delicacy in their restaurant is their Kabsa, they make it with just the right amount of spices and the perfect type of rice; that one has always been my brother’s favorite dish. But my absolute favorite thing to get is the kabob. One bite of that and I am immediately transported into the streets of the Middle East.
All in all this is an absolute great restaurant with fantastic service and absolutely delicious food. You will not be disappointed.

Finally! Respectable Middle Eastern food in the San Fernando Valley. Gyro House is fantastic. Good customer service, perfect portion size and great tasting food most importantly. Their beef and chicken Kabob pairs perfectly with rice and some pita bread.
Located on Lindley and Parthenia near the taco bell, Gyro House has become one of my fast food staples. If you’re on the hunt for shwarma, gyro, kabobs, or any Middle Eastern food, check out Gyro House and you won’t be disappointed! Best bang per buck and value for your money. Fast service, kind people and great food. What else could you ask for?

My best restaurant in Northridg. But the name is really misleading. It has various of authentic dishes, not only pizza and gyro. Give it a try, you won’t regret it. Plus the prices are really reasonable with amount of food that you get.

I’ve been coming here on and off since i was a kid and always had good experiences. It’s a great spot for good halal food in the valley. The owner has iftar buffets and stays open until 1:45am in Ramadan. The burgers have their own unique seasoned flavor and the gyro meat is really tender. Definitely recommend especially for those looking for halal options.

To start with, compared to how much I spend in the cafeteria inside my job, the amount of food that you will be getting for $ 9 is ridiculous (in a good way). I’ve had the famous platters inside the city and I seriously like this one a lot better. The white sauce and also the hot sauce are delicious. The whole platter is mouthwatering. You’re getting a lot more than you’re paying for IMO. At my job we usually order sign up for but today we decided to go there for lunch along with… I’m so glad we did! The place feels very homie and just a nice environment you can eat lunch with your coworkers. I went there all around 12 and ordered ahead when we were about ten a few minutes away — they presented us a table variety. When we got there we covered the meal, chose each of our seats, and waited around three minutes for our food (not a good wait at all!).

Lamb Platter is amazing, the rice in addition to raisins are perfect, food is generous for what you are paying for and its halal food.
Fries are surprisingly a huge hit, they are crispy and crunchy even on the end of lunch in addition to cold. The white radish spices and hot sauce helped a good deal too. Initially regretted ordering a sizable portion as it seemed to be huge… but at the end, fries is the solely item 100% consumed on the table.
Happy in Food Quality, Cost, Portions. Will go here again.

The funny thing about the box issue and the different treatment dependent upon your country origin is that you are saying that the restaurant is a fast-​food style restaurant. As he told her to get her own box, he was coming to take the order of a table of Saudi guys that were SITTING DOWN as if it was a sit-​down restaurant. The boxes were also behind the counter at the time. I don’t consider the space behind the cash register to be a public space.

I just moved to the Valley about a month ago and didn’t know any good halal restaurant around here. One of my close friends referred to me about this restaurant, and so I went to check it out (glad I did). The food here is really good. They have a variety of choices from burgers to delicious Kabob plates. My favorite dish so far is the Gyros Plate and the Lamb kabob. I can’t wait to try other foods on their menu.
