Go Green Construction

I submitted inquiry for Energy Audit through their website, to their email and left voicemails. No reply over 3 weeks. I guess they don’t need new business.

Fernando is awesome! He is super knowledgeable and will discuss projects options and costs. He has his clients best interest at heart and will talk over the green material options and what works best for you. His opinion and insights have been tremendously valuable.

We have been working with Fernando and his Go Green crew to update our home both indoors and out. Making the decision to renovate was not an easy one, having heard way too many horror stories. My worries were unfounded, however, as Go Green has made the experience a very positive one. We are regularly surprised and impressed by the quality and efficiency of the work that gets done in a single day.
Fernando is accessible by phone any time of day, as are his hardworking office staff, Stephen and Ru. Fernando and his guys on the job site consistently anticipate our needs. They regularly attend to small yet significant details without being asked. They even religiously ensure that our garbage bins are taken to the curb for Thursday’s pickup!
Everything the company does is environmentally sound. Most items taken from the house are donated to Habitat for Humanity or are recycled. Only low V.O.C. paints and materials are used. Our heating/​cooling system now uses 62% less than the home’s previous system, and our lighting load was reduced by 66%. This enabled us to receive the maximum rebate from Energy Upgrade California, which translated to thousands of dollars!
It has been a pleasure dealing with this company. Fernando has a great sense of humor and he never makes me feel like I a bothering him with my phone calls and questions. On top of that, he knows every aspect of the renovation business thoroughly. Despite this, he continues to take courses to keep abreast of the latest in the industry.
I highly recommend Fernando, Stephen, Ru and the rest of the Go Green Construction crew.

I have used Go Green on projects for my home (including a full guest house build) and rental properties. The work is always excellent, the service is great, and I don’t have to ever worry about missed deadlines or cost overruns.
These guys really know their stuff, and are careful to follow all the latest codes and use products that will save me money over the life of the project. After my wife and I purchased our home 4 years ago, we wanted to find a contractor for our upgrades that we felt comfortable would respect our wishes to keep our home as eco-​friendly as possible. When we first spoke with Fernando at Go Green we knew immediately that we were in the right hands. He knows an amazing amount about building and remodeling in the «greenest» ways possible. However, it doesn’t stop there. The work that Fernando and his team have done for us has been amazing. These are true professionals who do top-​of-​the-​line work that also happens to be environmentally conscious. I recommend Go Green and will continue to do so in the future.

I have worked with Go Green Construction in different capacities, and my assessment of this company is that it is the outmost professional and I highly recommend it.
1. We have partnered with GGC in April 2011 to build the stage set designs for the «2011 CSUN Night of Fashion». Senior students in the Interior Design Program at CSUN designed the stage set props for this event which took place in the Valley Performing Art Center. In this project GGC was the outmost professional. They constructed the designs out of sustainable materials and also assisted us in recycling left over materials. They helped us improve our design, refine details, and execute a very professional project, on time and on budget.
2. GGC is also a great community partner to the ID program at CSUN. Our senior students are required to enroll in an internship class and they need to intern in an interior design/​architecture/​construction office. For a number of years now, our students do their internships in the GGC office where they learn about green building practices and about sustainable building systems and materials — a very valuable knowledge for their future professional practice.
3. Lastly, the Principal of the company, Fernando Feldman, regularly lectures in our program helping to increase our students’ knowledge and awareness of green building and design.

Go Green Construction is an amazing company. I just finished several projects with Go Green at my home and a rental property and could not have been more pleased with the outcome. I have had the experience of a bad contractor so I know the difference and Fernando Feldman and his team at Go Green were really GREAT. Fernando is a creative problem solver and was really helpful with green material options for each of the projects we completed together. The staff at Go Green are helpful, smart and efficient and I found all the subs coordinated by Go Green to have the same excellence across the board. The company has a family feel that is comforting. I recommend this company highly, all 5 stars, and will continue to do projects with Go Green.
