Cassie Cakes made an amazing looking and delicious cake for my daughter’s first birthday. I sent a picture and the end product was EXACTLY what I had envisioned. I was so impressed with how professional the staff were. I HIGHLY recommend them if you’re looking for a delicious and beautiful cake.

I needed a small cake for my parent’s anniversary, and saw the good reviews this bakery had, so I took a chance and came here. The staff was so nice and helped me pick out an already made red velvet cake they had. Everyone in my family loved it, it was so delicious and moist, yet not overly sweet or heavy. I will definitely come back for more treats.

Im a repeat customer of cassie, same as always did a good job on top of her new Manager chelsea is very professional and very nice accomodating person. I love their cake pops where they have a very pretty arrangement.

Cassie made my Frozen birthday wishes come true! She created a Frozen themed delight, which was the centerpiece of my party! Being the daughter of a German pastry chef, I’m quite spoiled and critical when it comes to cakes. Cassie definitely hit the bar and has won a new loyal customer in me.
I pre-​ordered my cake 2 weeks prior and Cassie was awesome to communicate with via Email. She had some great suggestions and was super easy to work with. She even offered me to come to her shop to try out some free cupcakes, so I can make up my mind about what filling I wanted! I decided to go with Red Velvet — best choice ever! I sent a family member to pick up the cake — it was packaged so well that it made the car ride without any problems!
The photos don’t do justice of how awesome this cake was decorated! It sparkled all over and I did not want to cut it — I just wanted to look at it forever! I think I never took this many pictures of a cake before :) It was delicious!!! Best Bday cake I ever had and I know that from now on — only Cassie will get to make my future cakes ;)

I sent in a photo of a unicorn cake I found on Pinterest and they exceeded our expectations! The design quality was excellent and the cake was delicious! We went with one of their popular choices — cookies & cream cake with vanilla buttercream filling. So amazing! All our cakes will be coming from Cassie’s! I was pleasantly surprised and delighted to be able to order 3 dozen of Cassie’s cupcakes on the same day! I was stuck in horrible traffic and cutting it close to their closing time and nervous and anxious about getting there before they codes. Evelyn was so gracious and called me to check on my progress and told me not to worry. I made it with five minutes to spare!
I picked up the beautiful cupcakes, received assistance with carrying then out, was allowed to use their bathroom and received nothing but kind thanks and smiles when I knew they wanted to close! Awesome customer service!
The cupcakes were delicious, beautiful, moist cake with wonderful surprises in the frosting flavors. Yum!!!

Yum… I couldn’t get my daughter to share a bite of her cupcake, but now I see why! They are creamy and not too sweet which is something I always complain about. I tried their blueberry cupcake and now I want another one. See you soon!

2 *‘s– Meh. I’ve experienced better.
I went into their shop yesterday and was greeted by Jennifer. She was a total doll! I walked in with my laptop and cell to show and discuss about the design of the cakeS that I was looking for. Jennifer was not permitted to quote me a price, which I totally understand. So she suggested me emailing Cassie (the owner). But Jennifer seemed to enjoy my ideas for the cakeS that I wanted.
Later in the day, I received information about my sons allergies, so I called the shop and I believe Blake answered, another nice staff member. He informed me that Cassie had just left and it would be best to email her.
I get home, and shoot her an email stating the specifications of the allergies my son has and images of the cakes.
The following day I received an email from her, which seemed pretty short and direct,
stating that she was very sorry but there was nothing they can do for me and that all of their products contain the allergens that I was referring to.
Now, I know its possible to make cakes with substitutes, especially that of the ones my sons allergic to (milk and egg whites). I just found it odd, maybe she was overbooked or they really don’t make specific cakes. But, one thing I can guarantee, unfortunately, I will not be going back there.

I was disappointed with Cassie Cakes because the reviews here on Unilocal were quite good. I was in the neighborhood and looking for something to pick up for dessert for a dinner party I was heading to later in the day. So, I used Unilocal.Cassie looked good so I stopped in. All of the cupcakes and such looked good, but honestly, not good enough to buy a bunch to print later in the day. However, the young man behind the counter was super nice and we felt like we should give it a shot so we got two cupcakes to go — pistachio and chocolate peanut butter. The pistachio was for me and other than the cake part having a really nice texture, just the right amount of moisture without being oily, it was a bit of a fail. I couldn’t taste much pistachio flavor in the cake and the frosting just was gross — sort of like that thick, fake whipped cream stuff. yuck. I tried my friend’s chocolate peanut butter. It was better. The cake was good, and the chocolate flavor was ok, but at least the frosting was a big improvement, definitely tasted like peanut butter frosting and had a better consistency. Sadly, I don’t have any reason to revisit Cassie Cakes.

I had to pick up a last minute cake and I stopped by Cassie’s after work. They have great cakes made that day as well as a a bouquet of cake pops, cookies brownies to choose from. The staff is extremely helpful and everyone at the birthday party loved the cake. It was not too sweet and was soo delicious and moist.
I will definitely be coming back to order from them for my son’s bday, but to try out the specialized cakes.

This place is awesome. Cassie and her staff are amazing at what they do, and are very nice and helpful. My husband and I ordered our wedding cake through Cassie Cakes Cakery and it was absolutely gorgeous. It wasn’t quite a traditional wedding cake either in terms of decoration, but Cassie saw our vision for what we wanted which was Dia de los Muertos, and created something that exceeded my expectations. Our cake was red velvet and was moist and delicious the day of the wedding, and our guests were nothing but complimentary. I am very happy that we chose this bakery to help make our special day even more memorable. Thanks to Cassie and her team!

When my wife told me she spent $ 280 on my son’s cake I was not happy. I drove to the cakery to pick it up and was floored at the very detailed and well thought out design! My son was so happy when he saw it and noticed every detail down to the icons they illustrated! Worth every cent! Great work!

Ordered two dozen cupcakes = $ 60. Not bad!
I pretty much ordered two of whatever they had. Everyone at the work party loved the cupcakes. Presentation AND taste.
They also gave me a free cookie with my order so that was nice of them.

I’ve never actually ordered a cake from Cassie Cakes Cakery. I spend several nights a week at the gaming store next door. On more than several occasions, employees from the Cakery have dropped off treats that were unsaleable, either due to smudges, smears or cosmetic defects or perhaps it’d been in the case for a bit. On the day before Thanksgiving, the cake store was going to be closed all weekend, so they came over with four dozen beautiful cupcakes for the gamers. A few weeks later, an ultra decadent brick of a chocolate cake was delivered the gamers because somebody had smudged something on it. Gamers don’t really care if something isn’t as pretty as it could be. Gamers don’t care if sugar has been in a case for a few days. Gamers love sugar. Gamers love free sugar even more.
After several showings of generosity from the place I decided to stop in and actually check out the place in an official Unilocaler capacity. The moment I walked in the door, I was cheerily greeted, and conversed with as I perused their case. The case contained a wide assortment of sugary treats for my sweet itch. Cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and parfaits tempted me behind the clear glass just to name a few. After reviewing their items, and discussing them with the girl, I went for the M&M cookie sandwich. A pair of large chocolate chip cookies each heavily studded with M&M candies. Between the cookies sat a thick and creamy layer of chocolate sugar frosting. I had the distinct feeling that I was going to be up for DAYS with a hyper sugar buzz.
The cookie sandwiches are $ 4.50, and I walked back to the game shop before eagerly devouring the entire sandwich. I discovered that they were moist and chewy, with chocolate chips evenly spread throughout the cookie. The M&M’s on top only added more fuel to the massive sugary buzz I had goin on. For a short few hours I actually understood and empathized with A.D.D. folks.
This place is great. The people are nice, the store is clean, and they’re generous with their delicious cakes and treats to the gamers next door. Perhaps one day I’ll need a cake for something. I’ll try this place. Good job Cassie Cakes! On behalf of all the gamers you have kindly sugared up, I thank you for your store.

Cassie’s is a cake artist! After Cassie did the cupcakes & cake for Benji’s baby shower so it seemed only fitting to ask her to do the cake for Benjamin’s first birthday party. Again, she hit a homerun with an incredible On the Night You Were Born cake & adorable smush cake for the baby!

I can’t thank Cassie Cakes enough for the beautiful custom cake they made for my husband’s birthday concert. My husband is a jazz drummer & we were hosting his birthday concert at a beautiful jazz club downtown (The Blue Whale). I really wanted a replica of his drum set on the cake. All I did was provide a photo, have a 10 minute phone conversation and poof! It was perfect. They not only matched the color of the drum set exactly, but I gave them creative control otherwise and the cake was gorgeous! Thank you, Cassie Cakes!

I absolutely loved it! The cake was delicious, not too sweet and looked awesome! Considering they had never even heard of five nights at freddys, (an app game) they managed to pull it off! And there cupcakes are delicious as well! Definitely will become a regular here! Staff is also very nice and friendly!

This is a cute little bakery located in a shopping center near the Toyota dealership; the same shopping center with the BevMo! They just opened recently after getting a lot of attention and rave reviews from being a small cart in the Northridge Mall. When I walked in, I was instantly greeted with a smile. Super friendly. I told her it was my first time here and asked for a recommendation. She had said that the cookies ‘n cream was one of the best sellers, so I decided on that.
I’ve only tried the ready made cupcakes, so I’m just going to be commenting on that. The cupcakes were good, but definitely not great. They tasted homemade, not gourmet, which isn’t bad, but for a bakery with rave reviews, I was hoping they would stand out more. I got the cookies ‘n cream cupcake. It’s a marble cake with vanilla buttercream and smashed oreo crumbles, and of course a big oreo on top. Unfortunately I wasn’t impressed. It was expecting to bite into something decadent and rich, but the flavor fell flat.
I’ve read the reviews and it seems to be more for their custom cakes, so I will have to try that and update on it later.

I needed a cake for an event, and Cassie Cakes went above and beyond to design a cake with the requested animé character. The cake was gorgeous, with a theme of a forest and clouds with a blue glittered base. Our party hesitated to even cut the cake, because it was so beautiful to look at! The birthday guy said it was the nicest cake he’s ever had.
Once we got into it, the cake was delicious! It was red velvet and it certainly didn’t disappoint. You can’t argue with cream cheese filling and our party couldn’t get enough!
I had ordered previous cakes from Cassie Cake, but this time I had the chance to pick it up at the new store. The store is gorgeous, and offers the chance to pick up an additional cake pop and/​or cookie sandwich (I got both) which itself make the trip to the store more than worthwhile.
Lastly, Cassie Cakes made the interaction efficient and easy. I have not had a better cake experience, and can’t wait until another event pops up that requires a cake. You know where I’ll be going.
