Aquatic Safety Instruction has been providing water safety instruction in the Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley and the Conejo Valley since 1978. We are one of the founding schools offering not just a swimming program but a program focused on teaching thier students true water safety survival techniques. All of their students learn to swim but more important they learn how to become at one with the water. Proud providers for the American Red Cross since 2000. Owner/Founder Treci Horowitz is a retired LA County Lifeguard with over 30 years experience in and around the water. She is the author of the «Gentle Approach»

Established in 1978.
ASI has been serving students since 1978 in the Los Angeles, San Fernando and Conejo Valley areas. Their staff are highly educated individuals with degrees in the areas of education in the elementary or middle school aged children. All Staff are certified American Red Cross and Los Angeles City WSI (Water Safety Instructor/Lifeguard)

As a retired LA County Lifeguard water safety is truly our number one, Ms, Horowitz has over 35 years within the Aquatic Management Industry. Currently the owner of Aquatic Safety Instruction, LLC located in the San Fernando Valley. In addition, Ms. Horowitz is an Instructor Trainer for the American Red Cross, She has her Masters in Adaptive Physical Education Teacher as her teaching credentials for Elementary and Middle school age children. Ms, Horowitz has spent years developing «The Gentle Approach». This water safety program and curriculum is developmentally appropriate, gentle and progressive. Our company philosophy is we feel that every individual has the right to learn water safety. Learning how to swim is not enough, learning to survive is everything!
