I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews of this place. they have the best selection and what I like the most is they’re willing to go through each of their products and explain them to you. Most of the places I go to I just trying to get you in and out of there

Let me start off by saying I’ve been a loyal costumer with TGS for 2 years and loved this place. But today blew my mind when the bud tender called me a «freak» and was very disrespectful after asking for my military discount. I suffer from ptsd schizoaffective and major depression. So being called a «freak» and disrespecting me as a veteran really messed me up. So i called and talk to David the manager who seemed to not even care. So my wife went to speak to David and he jus blew us off… I will be withdrawing my membership because i do not support disrespect of vets much less disabled vet this is sickening, we give our lives for you and your going to disrespect me for asking for 10 percent off…
***UPDATE*** I am changing my rating to 3 stars because i do not want to blame TGS for this issue, they are the best place in town and have great deals. I’ve always loved coming in each month. Will, in express, makes my day every time!!! There are so many things about this place that make it great. Please do not be discouraged by my last review.

Nice selection of product, but compared to other dispensaries around the area their prices seem a little high.

Completely OVER-​PRICED! Having visited many other dispensaries, it’s beyond me why they jack up the prices sooo much. I can get a quarter of blue dream for the price of an ¹⁄₈ at TSG! Another thing everyone likes discounts they forgot to scan my loyalty card just for a $ 50 sales but refused to credit my account after showing them the receipt. Another thing the «specials» they have are joke compared to other Mary Jane establishments.

Thier Weed tastes like hay and we waited a half hour for it I’ll just go to my old place from now on

Let me preface this with a little background: Since The Green Solution opened to recreational customers, my boyfriend and I have consistently bought $ 100 – 200 worth of product per month. The staff knows us fairly well.
Every time I’ve gone in with him they’ve permitted me to use his loyalty card when I purchase product. I’ve never had an issue until today. I went in and asked the front desk staff if I could use his loyalty card without him there, because I was picking up for him as he’d had oral surgery the day before and our dentist said he could have edibles (as Vicodin did not even begin to lessen his level of pain). They said no, and they couldn’t give me my own card because they were out of them. I sighed and just went with it, I’m really not an assertive person.
When I entered, everyone was polite and the Budtender helped me find what I wanted. I saw they were having a big sale, so I asked if they’d honor the card this once. He coped an attitude with me about it, but agreed to honor it. Once scanned, he claimed it wasn’t coming up in their system so he couldn’t do it. I highly doubt this was the case. So I missed out on the 25% discount, and getting points on the loyalty card.
I did not have time to argue, so I spent the $ 60.07. I left disheartened and hurried home to check on my boyfriend. He was mad they wouldn’t honor his card when they’d always done so before, and vowed to speak to the manager next time he was in. I have decided I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on, because I don’t have time for these games when someone is at home, extremely sick.
I will admit before today I was very satisfied — the store is always clean and well stocked, staff is usually very nice, and prices are usually fair. That is the only reason it gets two stars from me. Otherwise, I will find somewhere else to spend my cash.

Utterly disgusted with this entire company after seeing how they operate the past few months. I have been to this location 5−6times in the past 3 months and what I have experienced has progressively worsened. Many of their recreational strains are UN-​FLUSHED and filled with HARSH NUTRIENTS (from their improper growing techniques) that no one should ever inhale. The people who run this location have NO CONCERN FOR CUSTOMER HEALTH, yes smoking is not good in general but FAILING TO GROW MARIJUANA PROPERLY like they choose to do and continue to do is very disheartening to someone who enjoys the plant as much as I do. Whoever grows their products either chooses to skip extremely important steps in growing safe marijuana or is told to by their management.
A few of the Bud-​tenders are very helpful and pleasant to make a transaction with however, the majority of the staff gives of NEGATIVE vibes and frequently answers questions with another question, again this is based of multiple visits with different tenders each time. It was hard to tell why the staff didn’t care UNTIL I was lucky enough to watch the GENERAL MANAGER of this location greet a 95 year old first time customer. When the 95 yr old arrived the greeter went to fetch the GM so that he could say Hello and whatever else. I am a few people behind the 95 yr old at this time so I have a good visual of what happens next. As the GM walks over to greet the senior citizen it is PAINFULLY OBVIOUS how HIGH he is. He made out «Hello, how are you?» to the senior citizen then proceeds to stand like a sloth for the next 30 – 45 seconds, seemingly asleep. The senior citizen was saying something to him that I could not make out as her back was to me, and after about a minute he slowly made his way back behind the counter and into the back, not once thanking the older woman for coming and hardly even having a conversation let alone a professional conversation with her.
It’s frustrating to know and see how GLUTENOUS the manager is at this location and is a leading factor into why I will no longer waste my money with these low low scammers. This place is a DISGRACE TO THE MARIJUANA INDUSTRY — STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT HEALTHY LUNGS

It all went down hill as soon as Rec came into play. They completely shit on their medical customers. They’ve been my care giver for years but that’s about to change. I can’t give a place the authority to grow on my behalf then never have any of the product that I need. It’s like it’s all been moved to serve rec customers. While some staff members are truly educated about their products, many others just bs their way through. It’s designed to make money. I get it. But I believe the commitment to serving those who need meds has been lost. Make sure they show you the product at the counter/​window before you pay too. They pre-​weigh and package buds so beware. I’ve often bought under weight 1/​8s and ¼s. They’re cashing in on all these new school smokers and users and are making a killing doin it. While the buds are good, the customer service and bs ever-​changing bag/​container policies are slowly pushing me away. I use another local dispensary in the area and have NEVER had to use a bag, container, etc, and certainly have never had to pay extra for it. Again, they’re not personable, they just want that $$$$$$.

This was the fourth and final dispensary I visited as I left Colorado. Were one to compare dispensaries to known brands, The Green Machine would be a small-​scale Target with a personal touch.
Upon entry you wait in a winding line to be let in to the business room and another line. The second line is a scene. Garish branded merch and books-​of-​interest attempt to distract from the awful music being piped into the place. It kind of works. Then you are at the head of the queue.
You are greeted by an attendant that inquires as to your needs. This is nice. Dealing with a face and a name makes everyone happy. I know what I want and Daniel appreciates this fact.
SIDEBAR: It behooves everyone attending this, (dispensary), rodeo to become edumacated prior to entry. Time is money. While most employees seem perfectly willing to provide the basics to out-​of-​towners, one may as well do some research prior to going to the town. You don’t go to 7 – 11 and ask the clerk about how beef is jerkied or wine is pressed.
I digressed.
Daniel led me about the perimeter of the store presenting me the options for the products I was interested in. They were out of some, it was post-​Labor Day. He was very helpful and if I could have tipped I would. They charged for the vinyl gear-​sleeves that many shops require you to leave with. I like this. There is a pox of marijuana-​litter cast about Colorado. It is good to see establishments doing something about it.
I would return as I would to Target; if I was around and in need. If you are in the Denver region there are certainly other dispensaries that would provide a classier experience. This one will do.

I don’t know exactly why I was over here but I went here again. Now, my previous experience was less than stellar, but I had hopes that a different person and a different day would make up for it. Well, I came in and was checked in really quick. The lady at the front desk told me I had my first –timer discount, that was nice considering. I went in the back and holy shit. It hit me like a pile of bricks. There was a line snaking around the entire place at 2:30 in the afternoon. I felt like I was in a line for a roller coaster at disney world. I do find it unappealing and tacky that there’s an actual knick-​knack area where they’re pushing t –shirts, cups, mugs etc etc. A bunch of stuff like you were at a spencers. It honestly, gives me the impression that this owner is capitalizing on his «brand», the business and the «tourists».I get it, if I were from say from Kentucky, and coming out to Colorado, this would be an overwhelming eye opening experience. However, I just can’t help but find it distasteful, it’s makes it feel very commercialized and for me, that takes away the whole vibe of what we’ve made of this industry. After I seemed to wait in line for 20 mins, which I do have to say was moving a lot faster then I thought it would, I was lucky enough to see someone who didn’t pressure me or upsell me on anything. I asked about using my first time discount and he said I could use it on ANY item over $ 5 dollars. I grabbed an ¹⁄₈^th of sativa/​dominant flower, proceeded to check out within I’d say 5 mins. The guy checking me out, called the manager over and she had to do a few things on the computer to apply my discount .She was very friendly, and did it fairly quickly for me. Took a few mins but I have to say this experience dealing with the staff was much much better. I tried the flower, basically was dry, had little to no real flavor. Kinda reminded me of a mid grade shwag without seeds. Not the pre-​tend kind bud I used to get back in the day, this was dark colored, not bright green, not extremely fluffy and didn’t have freshness to it. I don’t know what they’re doing or not doing but it’s just not that good.
On a side note, I understand the frustrations of the previous reviewers. We are natives, we shouldn’t have to wait in line, put up with upselling, and absolutely we should never have to purchase shwag. As far as being part of the «everyday whiners» I really doubt someone from Texas will have the same palate or experience procuring top quality, because if they did Texas would be doing it themselves!
There are FAR too many other places that offer amazing products, for decent prices without the commercialized vibe.

This is one of the best recreational marijuana shops! Prices are good, bud, wax, edibles are phenomenal. There isn’t a time I’ve been let down coming to this business. Thanks TGS!!!

This dispensary used to be awesome but recently they drastically hiked there prices. There prices were slightly high before but now there just ridiculous. You can find way better top shelf for much below 200 dollars an ounce and there wax is by no means worth 35 a gram before tax. This used to be a cool little place but lets be real there prices are way out of control even there member benefits dont even make this place worth it in the least. Prices have been going down steadily and even with the increase in taxes other dispensaries arent sticking it to there loyal customer base.

The Green Solution is my favorite shop. Not only is the staff professional and courteous but they have the best selection of high grade, quality cannabis at very reasonable prices. The shop is very clean and there is always plenty of knowledgeable staff to help you pick the best strain for your individual needs. I will never go anywhere else!

I love this dispensary. I actually hesitate to call it that because they feel like family to me. Although I’m not a frequent customer, they all remember me every time I go. The flower is always top notch! And if you don’t agree, you can bring it back and exchange it for something else or get credit. The member prices are great but non-​members also get great pricing! There are deals on the 4^th and 20^th of every month too!
Bottom line– great product, great employees, great product!
