Description

Specialties

Flotation tank therapy is like having a really big bathtub or small swimming pool with a lid on top. It is filled with approximately 10 inches of water and approximately 850 to 1000 pounds of high-quality, healing Epsom salts. Flotation tank therapy is also known as sensory deprivation tanks or Isolation tanks. Scientists estimate that most people’s energy is consumed by gravity light and sound sensory inputs throughout the day taking over approximately 85 to 90% of our mind and body’s energies. Flotation tank therapy eliminates most light, sound and gravity, allowing the body and the mind to completely relax, heal itself on an internal and external level and because there is not much external stimulation or sensory input to the brain, it allows other parts of the mind and the body to open up and provide creativity, healing and deep meditation and relaxation. If you’re looking for relief from chronic pain or stress or if you’re looking for endurance and stamina, FLOAT!

History

Established in 2012.

This business is modeled after the most successful float center in the United states and we continue to do consulting with them to provide the best that floating has to offer. We are now the largest float tank center in the Denver metro area and are conveniently located right off of I-25 just 10 minutes north of the mouse trap (I-70, I-270, I-76 and Hwy 36).

Meet the Business Owner

Lisa L.

Business Owner

Lisa is the very proud, single mom of Brandon, age 17 and Azlyn, age 3. She was in law enforcement for 15 years and after receiving her Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology, she went to work at a local college helping high risk youth graduate from high school and earn college credits while providing guidance and counseling. On a business trip to Portland, she looked on Trip Adviser to find some things to do and found floating at a place called Float On. She read up on the therapy, read the extensive research dating back over 50 years and trying it was a must. The tanks were booked 24/7, so she got lucky on a waiting list and the business idea was perfect! With her love of psychology, people and water (scuba diving), floating was the best of many worlds and had immediate and lasting effects both physically and mentally. She knew right then she wanted to offer this to people in Colorado as she had never heard of it before. She worked hard for many months and is now up and running!
