For those mornings when I want to splurge on my diet! Great food, great service. Get the biscuits and gravy!

One of the worst breakfasts I have ever had. Ordered Chicken Fried Steak n Eggs, scrambled eggs, crispy hash browns, wheat toast. The gravy was really smokey, like they added liquid smoke to it or something. The eggs were not scrambled, it was cooked like an omelet that had nothing inside or on top. Hash browns were barely blonde much less crispy. When the waitress brought them to the table she asked if they were done enough and I said no, she said she did not think so either so took those back. They returned in 3 – 4 minutes and were more like hash browns should be but still not crispy and now they were really greasy. The wheat toast was not toasted at all, It was like warm wheat bread. Cashier was concerned and asked if I wanted to speak to a Manager. I declined her offer and she said they could discount the meal. Not looking for a discount, looking for a nice hearty delicious breakfast… Very disappointing, will not be back… EVER.

Sunday is fried chicken day and they do it up good. I love going here it’s my guilty pleasure so I make sure not to go very often. They do give you two big pieces of chicken and two sides, plus cornbread muffin and a biscuit.

This might be on the lower echelon of Cracker Barrel stores I’ve visited. Was seated fairly quickly and had my order taken pretty quickly, with another server coming over to help me so «I wouldn’t have to wait»(there was only one other table and I had barely sat down). After ordering, the food arrived within five minutes. I felt rushed the entire time I was in there, despite it being an hour until the restaurant closed down. The food wasn’t plated very well – they need to use a slotted spoon for the green beans. The juice ran all over the rest of the plate(see picture) and I got what must have been the bottom of the can. Food was«OK» otherwise, but the pacing was really a put off. Carol in the gift shop area was friendly and offered to be of assistance with my time in the store portion.

I used to work at a Cracker Barrel in MO and all I remember was that I loved the food so much that I would eat there every shift. This particular location was just… sub par. Our server Kyle was nice enough, bit the rest of the staff seemed like they could care less, even the managers who were helping run food. Food came to our table that wasn’t ours and they were rude and pushy. The food was good but somewhat cold as if it had been sitting under the heat lamp too long. Items were missing… enough said. Overall, just an unorganized mess.

It’s cheesy! It’s a national mega chain! It’s Americana! I LOVE Cracker Barrel! Recently while traveling up to Estes Park under rather wintry road conditions we decided to give the roads an hour to clear up and opted to pull off into Cracker Barrel for a late breakfast Late for me is 9 am. We laughed at the cheesy Country General Store, laughed at the breakfast names: «Country Boy Breakfast», teased ourselves for being sucked into the highway megachain. Before we knew it, perhaps after the first sip of very hot, old-school coffee, we started to relax into it. You know, the Country Boy breakfast does come with EVERYTHING(Ham, Hashbrowns, Eggs, Grits, Apples, Biscuits and Gravy) and is only $ 10. I only laughed a little when I ordered it, and mostly at my own gluttony. We noted that the food quality was actually pretty good! The hash browns and Country ham were particularly yummy, though I am sure the American Heart Society would not be so happy. it took a while to plow throughout the enormous amount of food served to 2 people(see photo), and when the bill came(less than $ 20 for two enormous breakfasts), we headed out to the country store where of course, we had both eyeballed much need items for purchase. Two calendars, two candles, two coloring books, colored pencils, AND… a Cracker Barrel Gift card. We had a blast. Sometimes, no expectation is the very best surprise!

My dining experience was very nice but the food didn’t live up to my expectations. I wish my pancakes were as pleasing as the service I received, though it did seem a little rushed. The flapjacks seemed on the chewy side which was disappointing. I couldn’t finish the scrambled egg and the sausage patties were nothing special. I hope the food didn’t go downhill in all of the chains and hopefully this experience was the exception. I upped my rating to 3 stars because the manager respectfully took care of the problem.

As a southern gal, I take my fried food very seriously. This place gets 4 stars for the sweet tea, but the food was pretty blah. I don’t even remember what we ordered, but it didn’t make us sick so that’s something!

We’ve come here a lot, but the past few times we’ve gone early for breakfast, things have been stone cold(french toast), probably because they did not microwave it long enough :( I’ve left multiple times with a stomach ache and the ham is offensively salty and has even tasted rancid one time we were there. Blueberry pancakes are AMAZING, and we have had good service.

Worst breakfast in the world! Great place if you like raw bacon and under done biscuits that arrive after you’ve already finished your nasty breakfast. Microwaved grits & gravy that I would be ashamed to serve. Sorry to be so negative, but seriously really bad food and service.

We ate breakfast here this morning(Sunday). It was packed but we still got in quickly, less than 20 minutes for a party of 6. The staff there is like a well organized machine, constantly communicating table status and getting the tables cleared and ready for the next party as quick as possible. Server Brandon was fun, friendly and quick with everything. Other servers will refill coffee and water for you as they pass by. Just a really comfy, warm and inviting place to eat. Food was delicious and served hot. Service was excellent. Of course we will be coming back!

I hate giving bad reviews but it was a terrible experience. The food was okay at best and the service was bad. I totally understand it’s aFriday night and I expected it to be busy. The wait was surprisingly only five minutes which was great. Our table was no more than a foot from the next and it was uncomfortable eating dinner with the people next to us. It was very awkward. My daughter ordered the kids burger and fries. When the food came they just brought her a burger no fries. When she politely said that she ordered fries the waiter snapped at her and told her she will just have to wait. Umm okay scream at a ten year old. It was extremely rude and unprofessional. Honestly the worst part had to be the bathroom. It was filthy. I’m about as far from a germaphobe as you can get but I would have rather used a porta potty. The first stall I entered had urine and pubic hair all over the seat. Gross. Went to the next stall. Same thing. I wouldn’t recommend, at all.

I learned about this awesome chain when I visited Denver for the first time. Growing up in California, the only brunch chains I was familiar with were IHOP and Denny’s(later added Original Pancake House and Snooze to my repertoire). This place is fun. I can see why this is popular among families. The adjacent store has all kinds of random shiznits people can buy, from old school candies, Halloween costumes, to quilts. They give you exorbitant amount of food. I mean, if you finish everything they give you, you might need to see someone. You don’t need that much food. Every dish seems to come with biscuits and gravy. And there’s a ton of options. 1. Sampler(2 stars): two eggs any way you like, grits, bacon, ham, sausage patty, fried apples, and hash brown casserole. Biscuits and gravy also came with. Everything lacked seasoning, and the meats were of poor quality. I ate the eggs and bacon, and the casserole. The grits were so bland. I did love the fried apples with pancakes! 2. Biscuits(2 stars): super fluffy but bland. Needs salt or jelly. Gravy was super bland as well. 3. Pancakes(5 stars): hero of the menu. Delicious, came with warm syrup bottles. Super fluffy, moist, and crispy edges. So good! I ate it with the fried apples that came with the sampler. It was like eating apple pie but better. I’d go back for their pancakes but wouldn’t want anything else. Service was great.

A lot of food for less! I been here over several times since moving here and my family loves this place. Great southern cooking for the budget friendly minded people with large families… even IF money ain’t a thang… eat like a king… or queen. This place does get packed during the normal meal hours so I recommend coming a little before or after those peak times. But there’s plenty to browse in the gift shop area. Try the lemon pepper rainbow trout!

If you want pancakes… I mean really amazing pancakes, this is where you need to go. While you’re there, try the cheese hash browns. I have never been here for dinner but the breakfasts are definitely amazing.

We have been living in Colorado for several months now and have passed by this restaurant many times and didn’t check it out until my sister who was talking highly about it came to visit. Upon entering the restaurant you come a cross a lovely country style store which has just about everything — lotion, makeup, clothing, home accented things, and toys. We ended up purchasing makeup, a toy, and a home accented sign. We absolutely loved all the things you can see in the store. Upon getting seated and ordering drinks they offer cornbread and biscuits. The biscuits are delicious and I highly recommend it. We ordered fried and grilled cat fish and chicken fried chicken with a side of Mac n cheese, collard greens, and cheese grits, I highly recommend both the grilled and fried catfish. The grilled catfish has more flavor than the fried one. The collard greens are cooked with shredded meat. I highly recommend that as a side. All in the food was delicious and the service was accommodating and friendly. Oh get the sweet tea! I highly recommend this place. We liked our much so much yesterday we’re coming back today to try they’re breakfast :)

Weeeeeee, Cracker Barrel! The typical patron will expect a full parking lot, a wait of usually somewhere between 10 – 50 minutes, quite a few older folks milling around, and a Country Shop chock-full of American Pride, religiously based gardening items and, my fav, OLDSKOOLCANDY. Being from the Midwest, I was surprised to find my CB locations options limited to super north or super south of Denver — but fortunately the Northglenn location is right off 25 — very easy to get to — and has a huge parking area. The food was everything we had waited 45 minutes for on a Sunday at 11:30 — I got my typical — 4 sides of hash brown casserole and some biscuits & cornbread. The service was friendly, the food was amazing, the price was great and I’m not even going to lie, we exited and promptly bought $ 25 worth of candy that we had previously selected during our wait. Sneaky, sneaky(& effective), Cracker Barrel.

I havent been inside Cracker Barrel in years. We stopped in for lunch before a Flight out back to Seatle. My burger was great and the fries served piping hot. The Server could of been a little more attentative when our drinks were heading to the south end of the levy but thats ok. And it was reasonable for 3 people, even though my company picked up the tab.

I’m a huge fan of CB. Anytime I’m outside of California, if I see that Cracker Barrel sign off the freeway, I’m most likely going to exit. On our last trip to Denver, my friends and I were craving a homey breakfast, so we were excited that there was a CB nearby. For some reason though, this one didn’t live up to the other ones I’ve been to. One of my go-to breakfast items is the country fried steak, so I opted for Grandpa’s Country Fried Breakfast(with the Hashbrown Casserole of course). The meat was dry, tough, and just not very good. The gravy saved it a little, but not to the point where I’d want to try this again. The hashbrown casserole was good, but the whole dish was just cold when I got it, so it wasn’t very appealing even from the get-go. Service was okay, but like I said, this CB experience just fell short of the others I’ve had.

I used to LOVE this place growing up. The atmosphere is unique and the store is very cute. My step-mom was very thoughtful and bought me a giftcard to Cracker Barrel for my birthday since she remembered how much I used to love it. Going back there after a long time was fun but I don’t think I’d want to go back for a long time. I had the Sunshine Breakfast which included grits, fried apples, biscuits, gravy, two eggs, potato casserole, bacon, sausage and ham. It was a feast. The ham was really good. The sausage taste funny and the bacon wasn’t crispy. I LOVE biscuits and gravy but both the biscuits and gravy were a let down. The best part were the fried apples. I was stuffed at that point and saved them for last. I loved the fried apple! This place wasn’t bad but it wasn’t worth the drive and I don’t think i’d go back unless I had to.
