Excellent service, professional, honest and just plain nice people to work with. I know nothing about transmissions and thought I had a transmission problem because it jumped and thumped at each gear. I took it here because I trusted the AAMCO reputation. The techs diagnosed the problem, found it was NOT in transmission, repaired it ASAP, waited for me to get money and had it ready to go. This was weeks ago and my car runs great now. I trust this business thoroughly. Go here for honest, professional work!

Stay away. I wish I would have checked for reviews before having my vehicle transmission serviced here. The transmission will not stay in 2nd gear when 2nd gear is selected after a re-​seal service was performed. 2 separate wasted trips/​days later the issue is still not resolved, and the owner, Larry, insists the transmission is functioning as designed. The owner shows either no integrity, or no knowledge of how a transmission should function and will not do anything to resolve the issue their service caused.

Referred to them by another busines for a free transmission check. Our car was going 30 miles an hour max and using up gas like a bucket wih a hole in it. My husband scheduled a diagnostic test that would take 2 hours. Cool. He drops off the car and comes back two hours later.
He was told that they couldn’t complete the diagnostic. there were «too many codes» to go through”. .w.hat ever that means… anyway they told my husband to bring the car back and schedule another «test”-at $ 95 dollars an hour with no. guaranteeon how long it would take to complete the diagnostic. Yah.
I am my husband ace in the hole, his wiggle out, his omnious-«let me check with my wife»
Can you guess what the wife said?
We are getting our car fixed but not there. I would look elsewhere for assistance.

RUN, do not walk from this place. I wish I could give negative stars. This place borders on fraud. I’m still thinking of calling the district attorney. Why isn’t there a licensure for auto shops? There is for every other profession out there. These jokers are just plain ripoff artists. If you care about your car in the slightest bit, or don’t enjoy paying out the rear for total nonsense, then PLEASE, just go to your dealership.
