I am having 6 to 7 treatments of laser hair removal. The nice thing about this is that you don’t have to go very often for the treatments. I felt minimal discomfort. Susan stopped and asked me if I was okay, and she took care of me immediately. She got cold compresses right away, applied the cold compresses to the area being treated, and continued with the laser treatment. I could hear a faint popping sound as the papilla of hair is being treated (killed off). I also smelled a tiny bit of burned hair, which is normal. The cold compresses felt so soothing. Aaaahhhhwwww, so refreshing. It made the treatment so much better… more comfortable. I had no discomfort or pain. Susan took great care of me and asked me from time to time «are you okay?»
Perfect Image has been around for several decades. They are actually located in Glenview, IL (not Northfield, IL as stated here on Unilocal). However, the address is 2601 Compass Road. They offer a «free» consultation. It is not inexpensive. The cost is $ 195 per session. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes.
NOTE:
To achieve PERMANENT «Laser» hair removal and have effective results one must have at least six to seven treatments. It is well worth every cent. Susan does a fantastic job every time. She is very personable and explained everything in great detail. She also took the time to answer my questions and address any concerns I had. Susan is professional and really knows what she is doing. I trust her to every inch of my skin for Laser hair removal. She made me feel comfortable, which I appreciated (especially at my first appointment).
The fact that this is a PERMANENT solution to hair removal is worth every penny that I have invested thus far. They are professional, courteous and attentive. The front office staff is also very professional. It is a nice, clean, bright, modern office with plenty of room in the lobby. It is a very busy practice. However, Fridays are their «non-​busier» day of the week, which is why I come here every 7-​weeks on a Friday. Thus, it allows for more privacy and a non-​crowded, low-​key and quiet lobby. I am happy so far, and love, love, love the results. Excellent. I highly recommend Perfect Image to anyone who has answered the above questions with a resounding YES!
