Dufour’s Cleaners

We brought our laundry here to be washed, dried and folded while we were on vacation. It was a little more expensive than I expected, but they did an excellent job and had it all ready earlier than promised. We’ll be back and will definitely use them again.

They wrote on all of my husband’s button-​down shirts with a Sharpie!!! Not even on the shirt tag, but on the actual fabric of the shirt, on the lower part of the shirt. They wrote the first two letters of our last name on EVERY SHIRT, with permanent black. I suppose somehow they thought it would be okay because that part of the shirt is often tucked in? Or something? Totally unacceptable and shows very questionable judgement. What if you take your vintage dress or family heirloom to Dufours and they write on it with a Sharpie? Anyway, we now go down the street to the place just a couple blicks south on Division, and they are much more professional. Actually, they were mortified when I showed them what the previous dry cleaner had done to the shirts!
