put me on a continuous contract without my knowledge and without signing anything. Two years later came out and charged me again and are now demanding payment. Unfair business practices people who work there don’t care that they treated a tree without my consent and that was half dead. Do not get scammed by these people beware

I used SavATree to remove a dead ash and a very old diseased crabapple that had reached the end of it’s lifespan in my front yard. The staff was very courteous. They came out promptly to offer an estimate, which was on the lower end of competitive for our area, and scheduling was easy once I received a permit from the village to have the trees removed. They left my yard clean to the point that you could hardly notice that any work had been done unless you knew the exact spot to look in the lawn. Paying was easy with their online credit card payment system. The whole process was simple and painless. I definitely recommend SavATree and will use them again in the future.

Business must be good because they certainly don’t need mine. Phoned and spoke with a lovely lady who took all my personal info and said they would have an Arborist phone me for a consultation; that was 10 days ago. No one ever called or showed.

They were very professional and reasonably priced. The estimator was very knowledgeable, and the crew that did the work did exactly what we had discussed during the proposal process. This was the second we used them and I would definitely use them again.

They seem to be more concerned with their profit margins, rather than actually solving the customers’ concerns. I ended up with bunch of recommendations and add-​ons for my trees. More than $ 1000 later, my problems got worst and now I am back trying to find a better company…

Extremely expensive and unfair. They removed a damaged tree. Although the estimator said their way of computing fee might help me pay less, It was close to $ 2000 charge, and the actual working hours were a lot less. The estimator gave me a verbal quote around $ 1200, but he only wrote the working hours on his estimate. I was overcharged by every possible way. They charged me $ 90 per man per hour including long one hour lunch break for tree men, and more than one hour travel time. In addition to it, they also charged another trip for picking up logs by one man at $ 90 per hour rate, and they claimed he took almost 2.5 hours. The estimator didn’t tell me they would charge this way and so it was hidden cost. Probably only one guy was qualified trimmer who deserve $ 90 per hour. One guy was only holding a rope, and one guy only picked up branches and drag them to grind. Most of the time he was just watching. If he came in a different truck, he could have moved the logs away as one job. I don’t think they needed three man for the job. As I observed, they didn’t help me minimize the cost. Don’t be trapped in their way of ripping you off.
