Description

Specialties

Eye Level takes Math and English proficiency to the next level. More than two million K-12 students worldwide have used Eye Level (former E. nopi) to become self-directed, lifelong learners. We tutor in small groups with individualized instruction for each child. The Math and English programs are based on U.S. Department of Education curriculum standards. Our programs have been recognized by the NCTM (National Council of Teachers in Mathematics) and NCTE (National Council of Teachers in English). The Math program emphasizes both basic math and critical thinking covering basic skills, as well as advanced concepts and applications using child friendly, engaging materials. The English program covers reading and writing through thematic approaches, repetitive practice, and strategies that combine listening, speaking, reading and writing with a focus on reading comprehension. By understanding the needs and goals as your child sees them, our instructors will work with you to set appropriate goals and tailor a curriculum and pace to attain them one step at a time. Eye Level is a fun program that helps improve test scores and confidence. Pre-K through ACT/SAT prep.

History

Established in 2008.

In 1975, Dr. Youngjoong Kang established a Math institute in Korea that would become the birthplace of noonnoppi, the concept that instructors must become students of their own students to truly know their abilities and attitudes toward learning. Since its founding in 1886 by Dr. Kang, Kaekyo has applied the concept of noonnoppie to help more than two million students. When expanding t the U.S., Asia-Pacific, and may other global markets, Daekkyo applied the same concept to its Math and English programs. Daekyo is a global frontrunner in education, with more than 950 Eye Level centers around the world. Enopi was the name originally used in the U.S. and in Northbrook, IL when Shannan Layette first opened this learning center. Since then the name has changed to its English version as Enopi translated to Eye Level worldwide expect for Korea.
