Dr. Sawyer S.

Business Owner

Sean Douglas Sawyer, V.M.D. has worked with animals his entire life, both as a child on the family farm in Maine and as a professional. He graduated from Bates College, Lewiston, Maine in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He worked for a short-​time as a field researcher for an avian ecologist from Dartmouth University and eventually in the Massachusetts biotech community. Dr. Sawyer graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2000 with a Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris after receiving the prestigious American Animal Hospital Association University of Pennsylvania Senior Student Award for Medicine and Surgery and the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Hospital Senior Student Patient Care Award.
