What the … Whats the point of this place. Went here bc it said it’s a deli and the deli cooler is completely empty. All sandwiches are blacked out. It is like a gas station shop with no gas. It actually has less convenience than a gas station does. Very interesting and sketchy. Possible drug exchange place there is no way it makes enough money to pay rent.

Why is White Hen here? Bad real estate deal? Stubborn owner? Useless store, if you’re looking for lighter fluid, postcards, fly swatters… this is your place. If your looking for normal things that a convenience store would carry and predictable hours… try somewhere else. Feels like this place will go the way of the Sea Dog.

It’s now a White Hen Pantry. Good place to go for breakfast or lunch. Good sandwiches.

2.99/lb Land O Lakes Cheese! Awesome price. Commented on by many at the open house last weekend. What an affair! Prizes, free samples, kid care photo id’s, games, big trucks, police and fire folks! It was an excellent grand opening with amazing prices and a steady line the entire day! I was a bit bummed by no camera since I forgot mine but they had a great deli selection. I’ll still go to Lowe’s Variety in Northborough for their amazing meats, though. No one can top that. Pantry Gourmet does have some unique and natural items like seltzer fruit juices and fresh produce! Many people seemed to enjoy their frozen and hot coffees and smoothies. Great little gem near the Marlborough side of route 20. Excellent parking in a great little plaza.

Ever been to White Hen? Well… ech. But this place is Pantry Gourmet(by White Hen), and it’s great. In the front of the store there is a coffee bakery/stand serves coffees by Choc-full-o-Nuts and different kinds of cakes and breakfast pastries and egg sandwiches. Then there are the registers, which are for every part of the store, and then the deli. The deli offers the option of creating your own sandwich with fine meats and fresh baked breads, or choosing from their own gourmet creations(like roast beef with gorgonzola or «the mediterranean» with proscuitto and fresh mozz, etc on foccacia ot «the vegetarian» with cucumbers humms etc.) They also offer deli-style side items, a variety of soups, some hot sandwichs/subs, and some salad options. SO far, everything I’ve had there has been delicious as if I’d ordered it from a fancy bistro in the city but remarkably inexpensive(Specialty Sanwiches are $ 4.99). The«convenience store» part offers pantry and market items(I wouldn’t pop in here for batteries or some asprin). The have fresh fruti and fine cheeses, pastas and sauces and refrigerated items like milk and eggs and ice cream. The staff is friendly and happy and prompt. And the whole place has a plesant appeal with decent ambiance and free wifi. If it sold wines and microbrews, it’d be perfect. Since it is by White Hen, it’s probably not the only Pantry Gourmet around, but then maybe it is…
