We are Central Mass’ best pilates, yoga and fitness studio. Our fully-​certified, highly-​qualified instructors focus on helping you understand, align and engage your body, so you can work hard and feel great. There is no better stress relief than physically accomplishing things you never thought you could. Feel great and do it right: strengthen, stretch, and smile while you’re at it!

History

Established in 2007.

My business was born out of a great concern for people’s health and well-​being.

When my own regular workout routine proved to be helpless against my achey back and weak core, I realized I was missing something… a body awareness that could help me discover and work on my strength from within. That’s how I found Pilates.

I soon realized that, like the «old me,» many (most) people walk around all their lives having no idea how to use and keep their body healthy and strong. So I founded my studio, hoping I could share my newfound knowledge with others and help them lead more complete and healthy lives.

Over the past 5 years, the studio has grown to offer a diverse and holistic schedule of Pilates, Yoga, and Fitness classes. Our instructors have extensive knowledge, training and experience, and they give tremendous care and individual attention to each and every one of our clients.

Business Owner

Rita Matraia is a Certified Stott Pilates Instructor, an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, and an ACE certified Weight and Lifestyle Management Consultant. She has a B.S. and B. A from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA from Babson College.

Her business experience gives her first hand knowledge of the challenges of maintaining a healthy lifestyle while working many hours. «I truly believe that we all need an outlet to deal with the daily challenges of work and life. That outlet is Exercise! There is no better cure for stress than to physically accomplish things you never thought you could. It increases your self-​confidence and gives you the energy that you need to succeed in everything you do.»
