I LOVETHISPLACE. It’s a hole in the wall, but it’s my favorite hole in the wall. My boyfriend loves dinner box d, while I prefer the crab rangoons & general tso’s. The only downside is that it’s a little pricey, but as is life in Northampton.

We stopped in for a mixed dinner of sushi and Chinese dishes, pretty decent overall. I liked the vegetable dumplings and the sushi seemed to disappear pretty quickly. We were in and out quick as a flash. Someone placed their parking ticket on my windshield, not sure how they expect to pay their parking ticket now that I threw it away. It certainly does not have my plate number on it… I’m sure that the Northampton parking police are good with the boot.(Maybe it’s all that«higher» education.)

I’m very familiar with Montezuma’s revenge and now I’ve experienced Chiang Kai-shek’s revenge. Honestly though it was worth it.

When it came to paying, I wanted to split the bill-via cash and the rest on the card. My server didn’t understand that so I explained again– it really wasn’t that hard to understand. She gave me such a disapproving looking and actually rolled her eyes and sighed. This actually pissed me off. I still left her a tip– but not coming back.

Honestly, I am accustomed to higher quality food for this price. Northampton doesn’t give many choices in the good Asian food department, but since this is the better place that delivers, I eat here. I have found a bone in my sushi before, which was a rather unpleasant experience.

Good for nearby Americanized chinese. Nothing really stood out.

I went here with no expectations, since my last experience noho sushi experience was awful. Well, they roll an okay roll. The only thing can say about it, is that the rice was a bit dry. Other than that, I wanted to try an item that was listed on the menu outside. The server apologized and said they had changed the menu. That’s fine, although I did come in for that particular dish. Lo and behold, he comes back after a couple of minutes and said they had the dish! I was very happy he asked and got it for me. When my dish came, it was alright. It was the Tapioca meatball. I’ve had better ones, but it’s acceptable for noho, where it lacks decent Asian food. Overall, a solid three stars, although I played it safe and didn’t order any main entrees. I’m also adding an extra star for the service. The server always checked up on us and made sure we were alright.

Just ok. The crab rangoons are my favorite, but nothing in the menu so far has been stellar. It can be pricey depending on what you order.

DONOTEATHERE!!! Every time I go here the waitstaff has a horrible attitude. They treat me as if I am a bother opposed to someone who is putting money in their pockets. Nonetheless, the very poor service didn’t stop me from wandering from time to time. After today I will never go back. I ordered a few items off the lunch menu and the food was absolutely horrible. My food seemed rushed and tasteless. On top of that my dishes were dirty. Its very apparent they are not interested in the food business because everything about this place is poor quality.

Food is always amazing, great waitstaff and huge menu. Not generic at all! I would bring family members here for a serene enjoyable dining experience. Very good prices and great location(downtown Noho)

We tried this restaurant this evening with a take-out order. We thought that the food was okay, but not great. We’ve had much better food for the same price at other restaurants, sorry to report. We will probably try one another restaurant when we do take-out Chinese again.

I like T&T. I think they have a poorly decorated restaurant, but I can’t argue with the taste of the food and prices. I have not tried sushi… Better spots in town for that. Staff is friendly.

You get the feeling that they don’t care about food or service as soon as you walk in the door. Everyone frowns. The food is less than acceptable. Boring and predictable but not horrible. Just make sure if you come here that somebody else is picking up the tab. Everyday Americanized Chinese menu and execution. Reminds me of the old Catskills joke: «There were two things wrong with the restaurant: the food wasn’t very good. and in such small portions! Golly, this is a disappointing restaurant town!

Dishes are tasty, such as tofu, eggplant, sticky rice, chow mein. But the taste is very Americanized and can be too heavy. First-class service. Super-quick delivery. Dining environment is very neat, tidy, and comfortable. Would recommend it.

Nice place. Lots of vegetarian options which I’m always happy to see. The only downside was it was quite expensive for what you got and our waitress didn’t speak English very well, which made ordering a bit of a challenge. But otherwise, the soy chicken was very tasty! Good boba tea, too.

Just happened to pop in there for lunch this past weekend. We had 2 lunch specials — just wanted sushi — which was mediocre. The 2 roll special lunch was certainly reasonably priced, but the tuna and salmon smelled a little fishy… which is not a good sign. The salad and soup were also just OK… It’s possible that the cooked menu items are better(as there are several rave reviews here on Unilocal). For sushi and/or Japanese, I’d probably try something else next time I’m in town.

I’m not sure if I just came at a bad time, but I really did not enjoy the food here. I went during the lunch special and ordered their sushi. My friend also ordered their pad thai. I didn’t like either of them… Maybe it’s cause I didn’t order the right entrees, but as of now, I don’t think I’ll go back.

I’ll keep this short and sweet. This is our favorite lunch delivery at the office. Their hot & sour soup is the best in town, and they’re very accommodating about altering dishes according to your taste(like, if I’m in the mood for a brown sauce but I don’t want it too heavy, I simply ask for them to make it with less salt & soy, and what I get is a much fresher and lighter version of the usual… more like what you might make at home, often with some extra flavor added in the form of fresh ginger, yum). Their«healthfood menu» contains a variety of steamed dishes that come with a light sauce served on the side… all very good, and you can add as much sauce as you want, or none at all. The chicken and eggplant is excellent, and I’m also partial to the shrimp & scallops with mushrooms & ginger. Sushi is decent and always tastes and looks fresh. They are supposed to have online ordering, but I’ve never been able to get it to work.

This has been the go to place for the orginal Chinese, Japanese and Taiwanese take out. Since they’ve relocated this has been the lazy dinner evening fix. I’m generally a Tao’s addict and always get his chicken, lightly coated and not heavy on your stomach.

Here’s the thing about T&T: it’s the best Chinese food in town. Which is a big qualifier. For whatever reason, this town is sorely lacking decent Chinese. We order takeout/delivery all the time at work and while T&T had their shut down last year, we tried out every single place, sorely waiting for the return of the old favorite. Everywhere else is just so flavorless, and T&T is less so. They’re not mindblowing, not quite as good as back in NJ or Boston, but they’re more than good enough for some workday lunch.
