Our History
The Oliver Smith Restaurant opened it’s doors in the fall of 1977 and has gone through some changes throughout the years. What has not changed is the fact that all meals are managed, prepared and served by the students in the Culinary Arts Department. In the fall of 2010 we began to purchase lamb, beef and pork from the school farm and now incorporate these items in our menu. Our History
The Oliver Smith Restaurant opened it’s doors in the fall of 1977 and has gone through some changes throughout the years. What has not changed is the fact that all meals are managed, prepared and served by the students in the Culinary Arts Department.
In the fall of 2010 we began to purchase lamb, beef and pork from the school farm

Meet the Manager
Chef Kislo, J.
Manager
Chef Kislo was part of the first graduating class of 1979. He worked in the Northampton area until he acquired a teaching job at Pathfinder in 1988. In 2007, he came back to Smith along with class of 2001 grad Chef Lacey. In 2013, we were joined by Chef Benton a graduate of Pathfinder class of 2002.
